I think we can still be hopeful for a new parade, especially if any celebrations are to start in October next year. Disneyland's parade for next March has only recently been officially announced really, so there's still time. Maybe October this year we may hear something?
I really hope TDO doesn't leave MK with their tired old parade for such a big celebration... if there is one at all

True, and Al's latest column (and I know may not mean anything either way) stated "modest 40th anniversary plans". Whatever modest may mean not sure. Hopefully a new parade among other entertainment.

Our insiders have confirmed a new parade and new castle show for the 40th. Now, IDK if that's considered modest. I think of course, if you compare to the bigger celebrations like "The Happiest Celebration on Earth" or "Remember the Magic" then it's modest, but I am hopeful for there to be a LOT of merchandise due to Potter, and maybe some fireworks. I'm also hoping for some attraction updates or new ones.

Agreed, especially for MK. And Al (if right) did say it would be a 15 month long celebration so sounds like it may be kinda on par with past campaigns. As for hoping for attraction updates etc etc, I agree, Ive been praying the Tiki room will see love reinstated. But I still have a feeling we may not see that till the 50th.

I would like to see all the classics get a major refurb, although it will most likely happen for the 50th.

Thank you! It's very much appreciated. And 15 months does NOT sound modest to me. That's how long the Remember the Magic 25th Anniversary Celebration went on for.
