I wanted to ride Grizzly Falls so badly in January, but it was just too cold (go figure)! The candy apples were so cute, especially Minnie. I really liked your pictures of the Grand Californian. We walked around there, and it really is a beautiful resort. Another great trip report, Tammy!

Tammy, I love your reports so much. Thanks so much for sharing with us. If we end up canceling our January trip to WDW (DS2 is sick again so he may not be able to take the days off school) we may just have to go to DL. I want to see it so bad!

Glad y'all had fun. Your pics are amazing. Your son has a great eye in the pics he takes, too. I'm hopeful my 13 year old will be able to figure out his Christmas present fast (Canon Rebel XS) and take some good pics on our next adventure.

Thanks, Rachel! We have been on cool days and you couldn't pay me to ride Grizzly! Unless I could change right after.:)

Thank you Sweetpee! That's very nice of you. I hope your son loves his Rebel! It's a great camera. But I must warn you, you're starting an expensive hobby!:lol:

I warned him he'd likely need a job very soon after Christmas. :lol: He's already socking back every dime he earns. Meanwhile, I think he's checked out every book in the school library about photography. :cool:

Great trip report and so timely for us! We'll be passing through LA and stopping for two days to explore those parks on our way. I haven't been since 2004 so I'm trying to get reacquainted. Your trip report helped a lot! I am hoping they get the lagoon filled by December.

Yay! You'll have fun. There were rumors it would be filled by now, so I would certainly hope it will by December!:)

Your pictures were wonderful! I'm missing DL and DCA right now. :cry::lol:

We'll probably wait until DCA is finished and bite the bullet to use some points.

Tammy, did you get to ride Ghost Galaxy at night at all? It's WAY better at night with all the creepy effects!

Those apples look so good. Where on earth did you find them? I'm sure they will be long gone by my next visit (in 10 days).

I didn't! I watched the boys while everyone else rode at night. Now I'm sorry I didn't!

The apples were at Marceline's Confectionery in Downtown Disney. They make them in the windows. They're not too Halloweeny, so maybe they'll be there?
