Trip Report More Fun than I ever Imagined on the Re-Imagined Magic!

It’s time for a trip report on the brand new Disney Magic!! Okay not-quite-as-new-as-if-I’d-written-this-report-in-October Disney Magic!


Sorry. I’m only a couple of trips behind now at least! :D


Who: Myself, Heather and Missy! Here’s our (bad) phone selfie!





What: The inaugural sailing of the reimagined Disney Magic. It actually wasn’t supposed to be the inaugural sailing but the inaugural sailing was cancelled due to damage the ship sustained when crossing the ocean. I hated that for those booked, but I was not sad to be the first ones onboard! :oops:


Where: A two night cruise to nowhere out of Miami! Short and sweet. Our motto was no time for sleep! We could sleep when we got home.

Day 3 – Sailing to Nowhere


Man a two night cruise is a short cruise! This was our only full day onboard!


I woke up in a complete panic that I’d slept through half the day. Phew! Only 7:45.


Heather and I got ready and went to the DVC member get together while Missy got ready. Apparently I was trying to get pictures of all the new outlets.










Heather won a DVC bag at the get together if memory serves.

Look who we found!



Heather never met an article of clothing with an anchor on it that she didn’t like, so she was wearing an adorable anchor dress.

Great report :), loved the art work they gave you, that was a really nice gesture of Disney. Can you make one of those ice creams for me, I just love them. I like the day at sea give you time to really explore the ship and all it has to offers. Will be watching for the rest of the TR.

LOL at your ice cream cone! Personally, I think it's better than Missy's!! :D Probably because that's what mine look like, too! How genius of her though to make a yummy ice cream cookie sandwich?! Cookies and ice cream together! What could be better?!

That artwork is so awesome! Really cool you got that!

We have no trips on the Magic planned but that might have to change! I'm really loving the new updates!!

Yay, Darolyn likes my ice cream cone! Lol! Although I'd take Missy's not just because it's beautimous, but because she fits so much more on a cone!

Cookies and ice cream! She did that at Castaway Cay too!

The Magic is awwwe some! :)

You're not appreciating your ice-cream skills. Clearly that is a sculpt of Megara. What other characters can you create? LOL!

Yes, they're not great! They are too plain. None of us were big fans.

Oh my word. I'm an artist. I can make ice cream sculptures of characters and I didn't even know it...

I am loving your trip report!! We just got off the Fantasy 10 days ago, but I'm totally ready for a cruise on the Magic. She looks beautiful :inlove:
