ugh.....:dazzle:

Dont. Want. Carsland.

Why the heck not!?! Anything would be better than the BLT at this point. Something with Cars has the potential to be great! And it's a HUGE franchise for the company... it seems pretty obvious that they will "cashing in" on it on the other side of the country as well!

I really want another family friendly attraction to come to DHS and soon! MI has so much potential! *fingers crossed*

Can't confirm that whatever eventually goes into the Backlot would be a direct lift from another park. Could be a variation, especially since we could potentially be talking about a HUGE projcet (in both size and price).

I would be VERY shocked if we got this sort of expansion and investment.

Mr. Hawaiian shirt needs to take a more active role on our parks, if that's case! :D

Sounds good.

If true, my faith in this happening increases tenfold. The guy can get stuff done.

He gets the big stuff done, but he can't do everything. The people in charge of WDW need to take more of a stock in their parks.

That he does. I'm pretty sure we can thank him for FLE. I just wish he would watch TDO as it's being done. :dazzle:

Why not?!

Even to someone who didn't even remotely like the movie...Wow! It's HUGE.

But you probably wouldn't even ride it.

OHHHHHH BURN. :lol::p

I'd rather get the Incredbles Kuka ride, but Carsland is pretty cool if we et what DCA gets. No shortened version.

That's killer. Looking at all the info of carsland, even a different kind of carsland would be fantastic. I know this ins't green lit yet, but if PP gets the majority of the love wouldn't that add to the already disproportionately crowded areas of DHS? The parks design isn't very good, anyway.

I understand the dark ride theory here. Attractions need to be spread out more around the park. Maybe something smaller should be built inbetween building MI and Carsland? Like that Muppets GMR?

Well, you've gotta realize once this is done(if it happens), PP would basically take up a lot of the park, and crowds would be spread out enough.

Also, ST II will defintely draw a large crowd of people to the other side of the park.

I would hope Muppets gets some more love.

I don't see the need to use up all of the backlot tour on one attraction based on a movie that I have no desire to see. Of all the PIXAR movies to base half a park on, you choose Cars? Better things could be done with the land, something that is a precious commodity for Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Also, I prefer for the parks around the world to have some sort of uniqueness to them. Let Carsland (awful name btw) be exclusive to DCA. Find something else to help sell plushes and pins at DHS.

Sounds good. How big of a footprint would it take? Would they bulldoze LMA which also takes up a pretty good footprint?
