oh I’d take that any day over MV3D
Well at least the new villians show is live action so we have that to look forward to. Some have speculated that show could move to the new villians land once the land opens leaving an opening for a Muppets show in its place if they make that area a mini-Muppets area.

I’d love a live Muppet show in that spot. Make it a “Muppet Show” homage with live performances of Muppet Labs or Veterinarian’s Hospital sketches. Have it be like American Idol where you can audition to be the guest star.

Imagine an attraction like this in a park themed to movie-making.

A live-action production version of the Muppet Show. (Slight twist!) You can enter the theater and watch the production or you can choose to see the magic behind the production by sitting in seats that only show the backstage elements (Kermit and Scooter trying to get the chickens on stage, The Electric Mayhem warming up, the set changes, etc.).

They could bring back Here Come the Muppets. That show pre-dated MV3D at MGM Studios.

This is such a treasure. Disney should have never removed this because Jim Henson had a hand in it and it should have been preserved for 200 years. Disney could do no better than this. This was the peak and should have been preserved no matter what the cost of how audiences reacted to it.

From a time when the park was giving you a Muppet Show of that caliber while a permanent show of greater caliber was being custom produced. A different company and time sadly indeed.

Now that theater is currently closed and yet to reopen a version of what should not have closed in the first place.

Yeah, my understanding is that it was going to be an east-coast concept roughly doing the same thing the Hyperion does in California Adventure that opened with Aladdin which was replaced about eight years ago by Frozen.

Haven't seen Frozen but the 45 minute Aladdin show was really impressive as a live theme park show and not eye-rollingly silly/basic the way the BATB show at Hollywood studios is.

If they'd done something to that level of quality, it would have been a great addition for all ages.

Does it replace rockin roller coaster, or is it a new build?
It replaces. Sadly. 😢💔😭. I can’t believe it. But it looks like they are going keep some of the same stuff like the limos with a repaint, the guitar 🎸 in front with a repaint and if we’re lucky they will keep a sign or two in the ride itself (donut sign). But honestly, who knows. Disney will most definitely put a little hint to rock n roller coaster in the new muppets one. I’m going in November of next year and can only pray I make it in time. I’m only 15 so I can’t really change my own plans but we’ll see. My dad is a huge fan and maybe I could get him to go sooner if they decide to close it before November. When I go I will ride it as many times as possible 😅

DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT ROCK N ROLLER COASTER!!! I CANT BELIVE THEIR DOING THIS. next up is gonna be abc commissionary redone/renamed. Then the Dino restaurant (I forget what it’s called but that whole area is gone) Then Pixar place/animation courtyard. Then star tours Then tower of terror. This will all be within the next 20 years. So be ready to say goodbye. I’m not even going to bother with the other parks.

Not really.

All of this is fine and probably should have happened before MuppetVision (Gertie would be missed though).
