I think that theater was supposed to be for Broadway style live stage shows like Lion King or Beauty and the Beast.May have been a good fit for MV3D to continue to live on

Well at least the new villians show is live action so we have that to look forward to. Some have speculated that show could move to the new villians land once the land opens leaving an opening for a Muppets show in its place if they make that area a mini-Muppets area.oh I’d take that any day over MV3D
I’d love a live Muppet show in that spot. Make it a “Muppet Show” homage with live performances of Muppet Labs or Veterinarian’s Hospital sketches. Have it be like American Idol where you can audition to be the guest star.Well at least the new villians show is live action so we have that to look forward to. They could bring back Here Come the Muppets. That show pre-dated MV3D at MGM Studios.I’d love a live Muppet show in that spot. This is such a treasure. Disney should have never removed this because Jim Henson had a hand in it and it should have been preserved for 200 years. Disney could do no better than this. This was the peak and should have been preserved no matter what the cost of how audiences reacted to it.
Yeah, my understanding is that it was going to be an east-coast concept roughly doing the same thing the Hyperion does in California Adventure that opened with Aladdin which was replaced about eight years ago by Frozen.oh I’d take that any day over MV3D
Except that it would have still been behind East Main Street and not a fully realized Second Street. If they'd done something to that level of quality, it would have been a great addition for all ages.
It replaces. Sadly.Does it replace rockin roller coaster, or is it a new build?
Don’t think star tours is gone. Thank godBye bye muppets and star tours.
Not really.DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT ROCK N ROLLER COASTER!!!
All of this is fine and probably should have happened before MuppetVision (Gertie would be missed though).Next up is gonna be abc commissionary redone/renamed. Then the Dino restaurant (I forget what it’s called but that whole area is gone) Then Pixar place/animation courtyard. Then star tours.
I just mean as an attraction in and of itself. In DL, the theater was built into CA so the situation is obviously a little different. I'd also be happy to see this actually happen at HS and settle for them gutting the town square theater to turn the existing space back there into something that could host a show like that too (significant reworking needed, I'm sure) but they'd have to give up a meet-and-greet location to make that happen which is probably a step too far.Except that it would have still been behind East Main Street and not a fully realized Second Street.
I don’t think very many people care much about Aerosmith being replaced. The Muppets have a band, the theme will likely still revolve around music in some way but you replace Steven Tyler with classic characters. It’s just Rockin Roller Coaster featuring the Muppets (or featuring Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem) It actually seems like a pretty good idea. I doubt the inside of the ride changes too much. Most of the changes will likely be in the queue, pre-show area and exit/gift shop as well as the outside of the building. I wonder if they try to get some of these guys in the upside down car at the start of the area.DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT ROCK N ROLLER COASTER!!! I CANT BELIVE THEIR DOING THIS. next up is gonna be abc commissionary redone/renamed. Then the Dino restaurant (I forget what it’s called but that whole area is gone) Then Pixar place/animation courtyard. Then star tours Then tower of terror. This will all be within the next 20 years. So be ready to say goodbye. I’m not even going to bother with the other parks.
It’s not gone…yet.Don’t think star tours is gone. Thank god
Disney is slowly assasinating the remains of MGM one by one. It’s not gone…yet.
I’d be totally fine with a retheme if I’m being honest. Would have preferred it be connected to Galaxy’s Edge, but with Monsters that ain’t happening. It seems like a fairly easy ride system to repurpose to Incredibles or something Marvel if they ever get the rights. It’s not gone…yet.
