LOVED the hard soap! That's one of the memories that made WDW so special. :o

*Goes in search of powdered soap online to relive old times*

When I worked at WDW, I met a CM who had a stash of powdered soap that he collected as a guest (before he worked there). It was a little weird that he saved it for this long but he was very proud of it :lookaroun

As for the comment about the auto-flush being the result of germophobes, I think it has more to do with the people who for whatever reason, are too lazy to flush. Most germophobes are totally fine with just kicking the handle with their foot to make it flush

The worst was the pre 9/11 scratchy soap. It felt like you were sandpapering your skin off to get it clean. To this day I've only seen it at Disney World.

That's because you're young. It was standard in schools and other public places during the 50s & 60s.

Irrelevant but....the nicest bathrooms at any Disney park I have been to are the ones in Disneyland right by Alice in Wonderland...Dang. I was impressed!

So...now we know the reason someone pooed in the middle of RNR plaza was because they were sick of the autoflush toilets.

This thread is awesome and the pics are hysterical!
