Even more new art here, including some flashbacks to Dreamfinder's childhood. Lil Dreamfinder reminds me of Lewis from Meet the Robinsons.

and I'm not sure why this guy in press release for the comic is so exited about... "getting show how figment was created", because the first scene in ride is also were Figment is created, by Dreamfinder, he sings a song about it

Indeed.
Part of the experience in the Original attraction was just that....seeing that little purple dragon created right before our eyes with a selection of random verbal suggestions and a *dash of childish delight* once he appears.

Nice photo by the way....thanks for sharing.
It shows some of the intricate work that was done for the design of the airship.
Amazing work when you take into consideration that FIVE complete copies of these had to be produced for the multiple revolving main show scene at the start of the journey.

Even after all these years, i can look at a photo like this and find new things to admire....hidden amidst the detailing.

And when I see this one Hanging in Mouse Gear as a Prop for no reason of it being in MouseGear..I die little Inside..:(

I knew they'd probably redesign Dreamfinder if they'd ever bring him back, but I wasn't expecting him to be this Depp-ish. Is this what Old School Doctor Who fans felt like when they first started NuWho?

Just seeing Figment in a Comic book is enough for me. Totally can't wait!!

And I agree, the character of Dreamfinder looks like RDJ to me.

However, right before it, his line is "ooh this one's my favorite." So it stands to believe that he HAS created figment in the past and now knows the formula to call him into existence or something like that.

If that is possible..I do wonder how they will wrap up the Mini-series of the comic as he's much more different now in the new version and maybe they will see what happens when Dreamfinder became Dean at The Imagination Institute...I hope they fit that in.

Some will say it is. If I were writing a Castle episode I'd totally have it as a canon location and school. Of course the world would think those working/living there as insane

But then, Figment is not, Figment is our imagination! Oh and I found him on Twitter

Ah yes...a excellent observation.
Nice to see others have paid attention to his comments!
;)

Dreamfinder of all people would know how to create a *Figment of the imagination* rather well and he has surely conjured many in his lifetime.
His reference to the imagined dragon being his *favorite* of the bunch reveals that.

Who knows what other delights Dreamfinder has created over the years.....

Via Inside the Magic, here's a cover and description of Issue 2. The red guy looks like some kinda mix of Woola from the Disney John Carter and Fuzzball.

I think they could have done better for a real name for Dreamfinder then Blarion Mercurial.
