MARVEL Mini-Land at EPCOT?

I’m not necessarily in favor of it, but I’d be shocked if they didn’t forfeit those rights in order to replace their Marvel-based attractions with more relevant Universal properties, since they’re only allowed to use semi-outdated comic versions of the popular cinematic characters
Why spend money on this? They can add their own ip to New attractions or new parks. Why replace recognizable characters and hand them over to your competitor?

I think that would only be necessary if they were to use the MCU versions of the characters, which would require working with Marvel Studios.

It seems like everything is in slow development. It's about time they break ground on Nintendo land.

I will be the first to tell you Fast and the Furious is a horrible attraction execution but how is the resort's attractions and offerings itself slow development? Fast and Furious, Night Time Show this year, Major Attraction in Hogsmeade will be open next year, new Jurassic Park attraction the year after that and three new hotels all happening in the next two years.(this is not even counting the T2 replacement project)

Speaking of slow development, by the time the Disney parks that are able to build Marvel lands jump on that, the Marvel Actors and main films will have been replaced or rebooted. Imagine of Universal would have jumped on Spidey in the 2003 era popularity of Spidey after Sony's were making bank. Three actors have played spiderman in the last 15 years. Same goes for the Hulk as well. Universal has the right idea being timeless as no matter who the films star or feature, it always brings popularity back to the comics and cartoon spin offs. Relatively timeless.

The original plan was for Nintendo to go into USF where Kidzone is. Came close too. I’m aware of a proposal for it to be one of the lands of the third Orlando Uni Park. If both this and the original get built remains to be seen.

I take it they’re really pushing a third park now? I mean, I heard Uni purchased a bunch of land closer to Sea World but I didn’t think they’d act on a third park until they had fleshed out the others.

They are doing both. And yes there's already visible work going on at the new land. There's a reason they are going crazy with the hotel building. A new this year, another next year, and another the year after that. (and that's not even with the new land)

I say slow development because Nintendo was announced in 2015, and here we are 3 years later and the company still hasn't said a word about where it's going. It's a timeline that's making Pandora seem like a quick build.

Nothing makes pandora seem quick...that was redinkulous...even if they did a good job.

That was disney announcing before they had a clue when the potter bump was apparent...and that’s not disney.

It will be more than six years from the first announcement of a deal until Super Nintendo World opens in Florida.
