Holy cow.
Any chance that they're staggering out the instillation? I half expected fountains to pop up in the moat when the drained it last year for the Hub expansion.

Any chance that they're staggering out the instillation? I half expected fountains to pop up in the moat when the drained it last year for the Hub expansion.
So far as I know nothing is green. There are preliminary mutterings about a new show but I have no specifics. I did say elsewhere I wouldn't be surprised if Wishes was gone before the end of next year.
And yes, that's before any replacement for RoE.

Fiiiiiiine by me. With RoE's new lasers, I am very content with having it stick around.
Wishes, though, could use a refresh. I mean, they already have the projectors in... between that and new pyro sequences, they could pull it off.

I love the pyro more than the projections, I'm short and can't see that anyway.
Since next year is 2016, any talk of something 45th happening? Would Steve Davidson be involved in this ? I don't think he has any 2016 projects yet. Unless I missed something?

With good reason, every time I hear new Nighttime Spectacular at MK or EPCOT in my mind it gets translated as an excuse for less pyro. Need to be careful what we wish <pun intended> for. My heart says that the Castle park won't ever lose a traditional pyro show... common sense from the last couple of decades says sprinklers and projector lamps are a lot less of a hit on the bottom line.
I've heard rumblings of a new show for MK in the TDO near term, so maybe by the 50th.
I know Steve Davison has pitched many ideas. Someone just needs to front the bill for it.
The sad thing is with the Hub refurb, we won't ever get Disney Dreams in the round like was the original pitch.

If they want to drain the moat again, there's no reason why we couldn't get Dreams in the round.

Not when we've lost some much more of the moat on the Southern side of the Hub due to the FP+ corrals.
Slim to none on the chances at 4 mist projection walls. Maybe, some fountains; but, doubtful based on the amount of water left over, especially on the SW corner.

Well, it wouldn't be totally in the round, but you'd probably get 300 degrees of effects? Trying to think of how much of the circle was covered over...

How about fireworks around the hub like the Haunted Mansion portion of Remember Dreams Come True?

Hard to do, seeing we don't have Disneyland's tiny hub with buildings all around it.
But I guess you could put launchers on top of buildings in Adventurland and Tomorrowland for a bigger version of the effect?

I don't see how this would be different from how Fantasyland has launches on their roofs...
There are close proximity and indoor pyro that they can use and most likely use at DL. I've used them before with the company that I work for.
Anyone have any updated photos to share?

What about before a replacement of MSEP? That thing needs to go!
I think it's safe to assume MK will be getting the new Main Street projections that DL is getting.

wow! that's a lottah of trees.!Found all the trees....they are at DCA. They are planting a whole forest as Condor Flats becomes Grizzly Peak Airfield.
