Can they really blame the Olympics when it’s only just been going on?

Surely a lot of people like my are staying away because so much of it is a building site

I'm currently living in France and the whole country went from the normal summer tourism (absolutely slammed) to a complete ghost town in the couple of weeks leading up to the Olympics. I'm sure it'll be the same afterward as well.

The Olympic people are visiting, but everyone wrongly decided to avoid visiting (the country as a whole) since they expected it to be slammed, when in reality, now is a lovely time to visit anywhere in France (even Paris) thanks to the reduced crowds.

And its nothing new either. It happens at every Olympics, not just because of the worry of the crowds but also because hotels gets super expensive. Everybody is trying to capitalise on the olympics.

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney foresaw this coming long ago, and therefore decided to put walls up everywhere in the middle of the summer.

This. Not too long ago they were worried they wouldn’t cope with the amount of guests.

I can only assume they were expecting a last minute surge of one day visitors.

However historically someone should have told them this was unlikely to happen.

I didn't expect to see it, but I'm still kinda sad that we didn't get an announcement of Space Mountain going back to its roots and getting a SEA retheme

Yeah completely agree - especially since it seems like the D+ SEA show was cancelled. I'm still sad about it though. Conceptually it ties in with Discoveryland quite well

I‘d expect them to announce that when (if?) they announce the Star Wars land behind Discoveryland

Nah. Often these artists don’t really know what they’re drawing /using.

Any chance the Liberty Belle or its parts get sent to Paris to help replace or fix up the Mark Twain?

While I would love the boat to come over, I think it's too much hassle for them with little gain. The riverboat in Paris seems to have enough capacity. I expect them to re-use the boat somewhere in Florida. 5th gate? In a show? Animal kingdom? Just static decoration in the new frontierland?

I could see it come over for the watershow maybe in the adventure lake, but again, I think it's too much effort for them to ship it over. High risk it just gets yeeted deleted in transit.

I hope to get a few opinions on this.
Which lands in the main Park would YOU personally want to see expanded?
What rides do you believe the park would need asap or what would you really like to see built until 2030.
We all know that, probably, the company wants to focus on Star Wars behind Discoveryland, but is that what YOU would really want? I'm just curious.
