Magic Kingdom Tree Massacre

Sadly, I still do.

And while the folks who argue for the dumber, more concrete, less park-like setting of today's MK, all I can say is from the design standpoint that created the park, what's there today is incongruous with that.

Doesn't work. Doesn't belong.

And sure, anyone's entitled to like it better this way because taste us subjective and many folks who claim to be Disney fans don't even get the most basic tenets of MK design.

They likely also shop at Walmart and enjoy burgers and chicken fingers when dining!:D:hurl:

Much like Sarah Palin, they like to see their purty fibgerglass castle from Alaska!:xmas::wave:

Oh, no you didn't just slam Chicken Fingers.

The CTLCFFA will have your head for that! (the Coalition for Tree Loving Chicken Finger Fans Association, Subcommittee has been hearby formed by Chairman Epcot T. Servo, D-FL )

Honestly, the way I see it, it was maintenance purposes only. It was nice in the past, and there seemed to not be any known viewing problems when there were lush trees. But with today's restless society, I could see complaints about them to be removed anyway...

Add more to the rest of the park, keep the Hub trimmed, but lush with bushes, perhaps.
There you go. Not difficult to maintain and has a landscaping element in the Hub, which I find a-OK nowadays... :lookaroun

I like hub trees of a reasonable size

I don't like Sarah Palin

I'd never shop at Wal-Mart and just getting to one would be a hassle for me where I live now

But Servo is right, leave the chicken fingers outa this!

There's where abouts I'd fit in this thread. I guess I'm a least a partial redneck since I like the fingers.

Paid attention in August and wrote a LOT about how it's quite easy to see into different lands from different spots. They do their best to block somethings, but at other times, it's painfully easy to see. Something I don't mind, either way, but still. Not that hard.

No, it really is. You have to be looking for intrusions to find them. I'd really like to read what you noticed. Because basically all the lands in MK west are hidden from each other.

If so, then it needs some more tress, less concrete.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

:brick: some people here are just too arrogant. I'd rather be able to see the shows and have my neices and nephews see the show than have some shade for the day time. Save the quiet foresty areas for the rest of the park. The hub should be where you split off into the park and eventaully wind up for shows throughout the day.

Yeah, has anyone looked at the Hub lately?

I'll take pics tomorrow. It looks fine.

My stance exactly.:ROFLOL:

Exactly how they were before they took them down was perfect.
Not for me...Way to big, and overgrown. I like them how Unkadug showed us.

Run a search...my posts were peppered with it.

And even if you are looking, you shouldn't find it. I was really looking for the HM Show building, and never saw it, for example.

(Tom Servo Voice for this post)

Don't let the Propaganda get too you. There is absolutely nothing redneck or derogatory about enjoying Delicious hand-battered boneless Chicken strips! If you can't enjoy a good Chicken Strip, DARE I say you shouldn't be allowed to enjoy FOOD at all! It is the right of all free peoples everywhere to Look to their chickens and enjoy! For these Fingers hold not just chicken...but FREEDOM.

*Salutes in front of waving flags from all over the world*

And next they'll be telling us that WAFFLE FRIES are Passe, and Tacos are for heathens! Burritos are for Beggars, and sandwichs are for suckers! WHERE IS THE LINE DRAWN?

I already said TL/FL is a problem

Where?

Name 1 thing. Tiki doesn't count, as I already explained how it blends in. Aladdin might, but that is the creation of the devil, so that's to be expected.

Where? Riiiight before you turn and see HM.

Tiki looks terrible, IMHO. So do the other facades that ARE visible. And yes, of course Aladdin.

Huh? You go under a tunnel, and the area up to HM is either wooded or the Yankee Trader is there coming from Fland.:veryconfu

Tiki looks terrible, IMHO.

Well that's you. But it has been there forever, and was designed to blend in with Frontierland.

So do the other facades that ARE visible.

The only other facade viewable is the tower at the bazarr, which is ambiguosly themed. No intrusion there.

No, no, right where you turn and can see HM on it's hill. I'll get a pic tmrw.

Well, it needs more. Looks terrible.

Again, anything but ambiguous.

I assume you mean the side of HoP being visible from TL?

Yes.
