Magic Kingdom Bus Loop expansion

Soooo, while you anticipate a 10 year run before the whole system needs revision -- this is an opportunity for the imagineers to come up with a futuristic solution to move people between parks and between resorts and any combination of parks and resorts. Hopefully they are not like the government and keep kicking cans down the road.

Odds are the imagineers have already come up with many solutions, multiple times. The problem is Disney won't fund those projects. Slapping up more and more bus loops and bendy buses is about all Disney is willing to fund.
Disney has been kicking the can down the road for a long time already. They have the can kicking mastered.

Kingdom Suites Resort.
On one of my recent trips my girlfriend and I were waiting for a bus at MK and I was looking around and the idea of putting an exclusive resort in that plot of land came to mind, I figured make it only 50 suites or so and charge one hell of a fee since you would literally be a few steps away from the gates at MK.

How close did this resort come to be?

Close enough to be included in a printed press release from the late 80s. Although they had it as 200 suites.

Which stop will have the bus to Albuquerque? And will there be a Starbucks on the way to that stop?

Repeat after me 'Buses are Cheap"

Oddly, they are cheap and yet they grossly overspend on what they do built. If you run your house like that, you're called cheap and stupid. And you are broke while your house is broken.

Much of the 'overspending' is I believe Hollywood accounting where costs are moved from division to division and profits are laundered.

I keep getting the feeling that Disney is the next ENRON because Disney has had no significant organic growth and the increases in profit have been driven almost entirely by price increases and cost cutting.

And look at all the effort Disney is putting into social media to keep the rubes convinced that everything is great and Disney has never been better,

Trouble is they ALREADY are, Go to any large resort and the highways are jammed with Disney buses, I can't wait for the first accident with the bendy buses where some idiot motorist thinks they are TWO buses and tries to drive between them to 'save' 30 seconds at a light.
That's the worst part of this problem they created all themselves by relying so heavily upon buses. It would have been OK had they created more dedicated busways for them to travel on. You have a few roadways that work this way, such as the oddly under used road past Fort Wilderness or the sneaky underpass below the waterbridge between Epcot and the Beach Club, but other than that, they clog all the same roads everyone else uses making them highly inefficient.

Agree on this, Also a lot of roads are just 1-1 that cant accommodate many of them at same time.
I wonder if they will end expanding these hidden roads from 1-1 to 2-2 or bigger in the future.

When my DD and I travel to Chicago we won't stand or sit in that center, bendy section. That is going to be an interesting given how Disney smashes guests into every crevice of their buses at the beginning and end of the day.

I'm more worried about a guest getting run over as part two of the bus turns a corner.
