They still make Elio's pizza, we buy it all the time. My kids learned how to cook using that and a toaster oven.

And I loved the McDLT.

WHAT???????

I have to move to NY then. They stopped making it in Florida about 15 years ago. Cant get it anywhere here in Indy.

Is it the same where there are 4 square pieces you break apart???:slurp:

We have Elio's in Philadelphia, too.
Still the same...

The original McDonald's Fries, with all the salt, all the grease. I think they used to be fried in shortening, versus the WD-40 that they use now. Today's may be healthier, but taste-wise there's no comparason.

Is it me or did the hamburgers taste different too back in the 70s?

I miss going to Chi-Chis and just devouring the all you can eat chips and salsa in the bar area.We would go there after a hockey game and just watch the college basketball games and have a few drinks(in my case 2-3 cokes)

I also miss Godfathers Pizza(not the crap they have at gas stations here in Indy) and that ooey gooey cheese they used to have.....(said with my best homer simpson gurgle and drool)

3 sections across, 3 slices a box. Most stores sell their own brands the same way. You can even get large pies and microwave individual pies.

Beef tallow, thats what gave them the great taste. The fruit pies were fried in the same...waaay too bad for you, but sooo good! :slurp:

Here on Long Island we still have a few Ground Rounds and we have Sizzler. I miss Smiley Face Cookies! Anyone remember them? They were good. I do miss Reggie bars. I also miss Beef Steak Charlies with their sangria and peel and eat shrimp. I just hated that commercial with the couple sitting behind a mound of free shrimp peeling it and saying "Shrimp, Shrimp, Shrimp" I clearly remember my Dad remarking "Where do they find these people?!"
Oh yeah, Dunkaroos still exist here too.

I also miss Chi Chi's and McDLTs! My mom laments the fact that they no longer have Goofy ice cream bars at WDW. Apparently the had caramel, and were covered in milk, not dark, chocolate. Anyone else remember those?

I've heard tale that the Toll House Sandwiches from WDW have faded away from the cart menus; if so, that tops my list. :(

^^OMG! Those were awesome!

I could have sworn I had one during my first trip back in '94.

Do you know what I DO miss?

Ninja Turtles Pies. (Like the fruit pies but with Vanilla Creme filling :slurp: )

Also, anybody remember Hi-C "Ecto Cooler?"

It's still alive and kicking...just under a different name. The new name of "Ecto Cooler" is "Orange Tangergreen" (Same ingredients...the only difference is the clear "non-stain" coloring).

...And really, what's the fun in Kool Aid-esque drinks if you don't have the proof on your clothing or carpeting?
