Kevin says Crush is coming

I have ridden Crush's Coaster and think it is great... especially for what it is; however, it definitely has capacity issues and the lines make it not worth riding normally. I think WDW has been Nemoified enough already; however, this is my favorite Nemo attraction followed by the DL Subs so if they found a way to address the capacity issues I would think it would be a nice addition to DHS but I would prefer a Monsters, Inc coaster for more variety if it had to be one or the other.

Of course this is just a rumor and doesn't sound like a very reliable one so *shrug* will keep hoping for Monsters :)

Nemo won't be leaving The Seas... It's actually a good thing that he's there now and gives that pavilion a spark it didn't have before. (I thought it was boring as heck before Nemo and never went there, now it's slightly better).

As stated already, Nemo has a large presence at the parks already and is getting a wing at the new resort. NO MORE NEMO!!! Some people have already said they aren't Nemo haters... I guess you can consider me one. I personally thought that movie is extremely overrated and the third worst Pixar film behind Wall-E and A Bug's Life. It had it's moments, but is nothing compared to the Pixar greats such as Toy Story 2, The Incredibles and Up.

The M:I Coaster needs to happen. That was a great movie that still doesn't have the park presence it deserves. MILF is fun and is a pretty good show, but the coaster would be an excellent addition to DHS and really give the Monsters some exposure.

Exactly. That is the plan. :p
Nemo isn`t going anywhere except The Seas (and DAK)

There was a proposal to install CC in DHS a few years ago. The show building alone would mean major demo work to SS1. As of now, M:I is the one so far as I know.

I don't understand how someone is against Nemo being in The Seas. It fits perfectly!
Ummm.....how 'bout "no".
Nemo has nothing to do with the Living Seas...except that they both involve water and fish. That's like saying Cars fits Test Track and Buzz fits Mission:Space.

I fully understand why they put Nemo in there....but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Whether we like it or not (and I'm squarely on the fence) Nemo is not going to leave less than five years after being put into place. This rumor is just that.....

All three rides are basicly the same show but with different means of moving through the scene. The tell the same story, looking at crush's coaster video I saw Bruce comming out of a ship, Jellyfish above you, The Angler fish and the gulls before the ride.

Crushes Coaster is nothing like TLS. It has some dark scene similarities in the slow section, but once you get inside the sub and see Bruce, the duel speed lift shoots you into the main ride building for an experience nothing like Seas with Nemo.

I recently visited DLP and thought CC was the 2nd best ride there! (SM Mission 2 being first of course) but it definitely has loading issues, i never saw the queue under 1 hour and the park wasn't busy!! and although it isn't the same as Nemo & friends it is a similar style/setting.
i agree though theres too much Nemo and the MI coaster would be better choice, even it could have a similar ride system to CC

I would not want to see the crush coaster come to the studios either. Its not that I dont like Nemo, but a third major attraction from the same movie is just WAAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH. I think they did a great job with the seas and I think the Nemo show is good as well. So I would much rather see the Monsters inc. coaster or something from the incredibles before another Nemo.

I`d say the capacity issues with Crush in WDSP are partly a low THR and partly a victim of its own success in a park in need of more D tickets. You have a ride that is called `coaster` and a section of track outdoors for guests to see cars whizzing by and you have the ultimate weenie. Load itself seems very efficient; 4 people per car in a system where the cars never stop moving - in true Omnimover style they keep moving forward only to split and speed up as they exit load. I must get my video up from a preview night.

But it dosn`t matter. It ain`t coming.

Yes, but if it's a single track dispatch at the same frequency of oneside of Primeval Whirl, then it's a pretty low capacity. Peter Pan dispatches like an Omnimover, and it's capacity is quite low. It's all about the speed/frequency of the dispatches.

Fascinating, really fascinating. I just don't get it. There are some attractions in other parks, especially Journey to the Center of the Earth from TDS and Indiana Jones Adventure from DL that I am just DYING for to see them finally in WDW or some brillant designs by the imagineers like Fire Mountain and they always go with the least interesting addition where there is already at least one or even more attractions. We have Nemo in EPCOT, we have it in DAK, so why do they add another nemo attraction?

I read Kevin alot, but unlike Al Lutz who obviously has good sources at DL, Kevin writes as an observational blogger, former employee, and frequent guest. I can't recall Kevin ever breaking news not available to the astute guest or having any "inside" info. I would not call him a reliable source on inside company dealings.
