Oh man, I haven't checked this thread in AGES.... and I'm still trying to figure out how to fit a cruise in next year. :shrug:

Because... I STILL WANNA GO! lol. But, still working out if I can afford it with the idea of moving next year, starting out as a teacher (hopefully), etc. Guess we'll find out closer to it, huh? :(

I'm hoping so... I think the biggest obstacles are that the BF and I are looking to move to Orlando sometime early next year (though, I can totally put aside money for a cruise! haha :cool: ), and I'm hoping to be teaching starting next August/September... idk how they would feel about me taking off that early on my first year teaching?

That is tricky taking off that quick! I guess you'll have to wait and see on that one. How exciting to move to Orlando though! :)

Jealous! My fiance and I are hopefully moving to the Tampa area next year (He will hopefully be doing his residency at a hospital in Largo, FL) But it would be so cool to be right in Orlando.

My sister and her husband are both full time teachers and they said they cant really take time off during non summer months because I guess it messes up their retirement. But that could just be at the places they work. So I'd definitely check into that, too!

I would really love to be able to go on this cruise! Mom (Disneybird) and I have discussed it briefly in passing. I think it would be such a fun trip, and I would love to meet the ladies whose reports and trips I've shared in over the years. If I can swing it with work (I work in education), I hope that I can add a stateroom to that list.

Hey ladies! I just wanted to jump in and say I've been visiting this thread on and off for a while. I really wish I could join in, but I'm hoping to be in my first semester of veterinary school at that time. Huge fingers crossed for that to happen! Although, having a possible cruise to look forward to if I don't get accepted my first try might make it a little easier... But I'm choosing to think optimistically! I know you all will have a great time and (don't take this the wrong way) I hope I'm not there to enjoy it with you :). Even though I wish I could.

And it definitely depends on if I have a teaching job by then and am not, you know, working for Disney or something instead. :lol: I wonder how they'd feel about me taking off to go on a Disney cruise :lookaroun
