We're ummmmm, about halfway done..... Oops!! lol I've just been SOOOOO busy I haven't had time to finish them. We're going to finish up a good chunk of them tonight and then Mom is going to use her free time during the day now that she isn't working to finish them.
We got our actual fish extender in the mail. Oh. My. Gawsh. Sooooo cute! If anyone needs one for a future cruise, I definitely recommend doing it through her. It was like $35 and we got it on Etsy. You can customize it with your colors and what not.

That is super cheap. I think mine cost me about 25 in just materials for it. I did enjoy making it and learning how to sew for the umpteenth time from my granny. Granny bonding is the best!
I did finish my fe gifts but its not what I wanted to do. I started making something then realized it would take way too long to do so I need up changing plans and doing something totally different. It was easy for me and I hope you girls like it.

Taking on the sewing machine this weekend to make FE. I had to retrieve it from my mom, who kidnapped it way back when rather than buy a new one herself. You ladies who have crafted your own (or anyone who has ever hung one, for that matter)--how wide should it be? Is 12 inches too wide?
I am encouraged by the fact that last weekend I sat down at the sewing machine for the first time in over 20 years and was able to produce decent-looking cushion covers. I just hope I can make the FE turn out like I see it in my head.

Got my Mickey mail from Tammy yesterday!! Wooo hoooo!! We need to make sure we all wear those lanyards so we can spot the ladies on the cruise right away! I've seen pics of most people so I MIGHT be able to pick some people out but others I've never seen! Ooooohhhhhh, I'm getting soooooo excited!! Do we really leave for this trip next Saturday?? Wow... that's NEXT WEEK!!! ZOMG!!!

Does it matter if my flight information going home has me landing in the wrong city?I just got the same email!
Everyone's transfers are set up if you needed them. I'm going to relink everyone on Friday! I'd recommend everyone go check their reservation and go through their online check in once more. Make sure your transfers look right, your name is spelled correctly, etc.
One final check!
The date, time and my name are correct. I also get the "you can see up to 4 linked reservations" thing so I am not sure that I can change it.

Ours is wider than that. I hope it's not a problem. I think maybe closer to 18 inches wide. I'm gonna have to measure it. Eek. I can't remake it. Hope it works.

I ended up buying our FE, too. Time was getting past me. I still have to finish my FE gifts!
12" is a good width for a FE. Be sure to measure the outside of whatever you're hanging it from. So if you have a wood dowel thru the top that sticks out to each side, measure that. I think I read that 13" is the max but I think my family one is a little wider. It just sticks out a little from the wall.
@Mrs.Skellington , I think yours might still be alright. It will just stick out into the hall a little at the top. It's okay.
Also, I'm bringing some zip ties with me. If you don't have any zip ties to anchor your FE to the hook let me know. They're used to keep the FEs from sprouting legs and "walking". It's a just in case thing.

Oh, another question (I am just full of them!!) We are adding my mom's credit card to our onboard account but we also have some Disney gift cards we want to add too. One - Where would we do that? And two - Will they use those first and then charge the CC? Do they automatically charge gratuities to it at the end? Because we would rather do cash for that!
Also, our Dolphin Excursion lists a time of 9:15am. Is this the time we meet for the excursion or is this the time the excursion actually starts?? Because I don't think we dock until 9:30 correct? I'm becoming a Nervous Nelly over here!!

Go to Guest Services onboard the ship probably the first night and they can load the credit cards onto the shipboard account for you. Yes, the shipboard account will be totally depleted before they start pushing remaining charges thru on the link credit card. If there's a chance you won't deplete all those funds on the account hang onto the gift cards. At the end of a cruise if you have $$ remaining it will refund to where it came from. So if you load a bunch of gift cards onto your shipboard account but don't spend all the $$, the remaining funds would go back to your gift cards. Make sense?
I will say, Disney is smart to do it this way. Royal Caribbean does not (from what I understand). At the end of their cruise any leftover funds on your shipboard account that came from you goes towards a future booking. Uh, no. This feels wrong. It's my money and I want it NOW! LOL!
