Can't believe I forgot to ask this...

@sweetpee_1993 @Tiggerish @Kerby626 @Sans Souci

...any snorers?

Do we need to bring our own shampoo? hair dryer?

@Tiggerish Cali Grill does sound fantastic!

Is anyone going to MK on Saturday night? Or should I start looking at the 1900 Park Fare buffet menu? Haha

I don't unless I sick.. Which I don't plan to be..

I plan on hanging out at the hotel with not much of anything. However, I am really looking forward to a birthday breakfast at Kona the next morning.

Magic Kingdom closes at 7 Saturday night. Stephanie and I will be in Epcot that night though, if you would like to join us for Illuminations.

We will be at Epcot as well! We have an ADR at Garden Grill at 4:30 and I think we will stay for Illuminations. We're debating doing Illuminations Saturday or Thursday. I ind of want to do it Saturday because Thursday night we can go back to BLT early and watch Wishes since we won't have a chance this trip (the night we are in Mk it's for the Halloween party so it'll be Hallowishes)

I snore when I'm sick. I'm hoping to God I don't have to go thru that again. Otherwise, I'm good.

You can prob'ly get by with the H2O Spa stuff in the stateroom. Since we have 4 of us ladies I don't think it'd be tacky to request a supply of 4 bottles of everything each time our host cleans (twice daily). I can't use the H2O because it will kill the Keratin treatment I'm having done the week before we leave. I'll be bringing my own out of necessity. I like the lotion. Smells great. Miss the body butter which was better so I still bring my own lotion. But I'll use theirs for hands and feet throughout the day in passing.

The blow dryer in the stateroom is pretty good. Just gotta be sure to plug it in the right outlet. I think its marked. Unless you need an ionic one or whatever, the one they have is great.

Kelly, I am getting a brazillian gloss done to my hair the week before the cruise. It's like the Keratin treatment but much cheaper and doesn't last as long (3 months I think) What kind of shampoo do you use for it? Right now I'm using the Chi Ionic Color Protector shampoo and conditioner. I read all Chi products are sulfate free but then someone told me they do have sulfate in them! I have to check my bottles when I get home because if they do have sulfate, I want to switch to something that won't strip my color or my treatment.

We plan on doing Epcot Thursday and after dinner at Le Cellier, head over to watch Wishes. I believe MK stays open late and Wishes starts at 10 that night.

I think we may do that as well. We might not go into MK but rather watch Wishes from the Skyway bridge between BLT and Contemp and then crash afterwards. Not sure our exact plan yet but we will definitely have to do some rides together :)

DVC ladies, maybe you can help me with this.... We're staying at Bay Lake Tower after the cruise on rented points. We are not DVC members. Will we have access to Top of the World Lounge since we are staying on points but are technically not DVC members? I'm guessing no but I figured I would ask!

I've only had the Brazillian Blowout Zero done once before. It was the first time I'd been to a salon/stylist other than my friend Shannon because we're so far from her right now. She was close to our house before we moved from Port Arthur. Now I'm practically in Houston and Shannon is over an hour away. Tracey didn't like my hair so much when someone else did it. Honest, I was kinda surprised at how bad my eyes, nose, and throat burned even with a towel over my face with the Zero formula. It was pretty bad. I texted with Shannon a bit last week and asked if they were doing Brazillian Blowouts now or what. She said they weren't, that they did the Keratin thing. I've not had it done yet. I really don't know that much about it which is probably not good. I know she mentioned how long it lasted which was way longer than the 2-3 months the Blowout lasted. She warned of the cost, too. With my cut, color (highlight & lowlight), and everything I'm expecting it to be crazy expensive and pretty much 1/2 day or more over there. When I had the Brazillian Blowout Zero done in May I bought the BB shampoo from the salon. I used a Bumble & Bumble conditioner but can't remember which one. Then, for styling I smoothed a little of Bumble & Bumble's Leave In Rinse Out conditioner thru my hair, blow dried, and done. That was it. I loved not loading all my hair with so much stuff. That was nice.

I knew I'd be having at least a Blowout done again before the next cruise(s). A month or so ago there was a sale on I think it was HauteLook for "Pure Brazillian" products. I thought I'd be so clever and purchase ahead. I got full size shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in conditioner for what I paid for just the Brazillian Blowout shampoo at the salon. Well, I'm reading the bottles and the shampoo says "anti-frizz" & "no sodium chloride". The conditioner doesn't even say "no sodium chloride". Sooooo, guess I wasn't so clever. Fark!

Bumble & Bumble has a sulfate-free shampoo in the Color-Minded line. Maybe I'll just get that. I dunno. I will ask Shannon when I get over there. Or I could prob'ly text and ask her today. They sell Bumble & Bumble at the salon whe works at so I can just get what I need there. I really do hate spending so much on products after spending a small fortune on my hair but compared to the cost of the Keratin treatment...o_O... Ya know???

Yeah, I hear ya! The Brazillian gloss I got done didn't burn my eyes, nose or anything. It's the formaldahyde that makes the burning sensation and that's a big reason I went with the Brazilian Gloss rather than the Blowout because most blowouts contain the formaldahyde. I don't have overly curly hair or even really wavy hair, but it does get frizzy and this helps with the frizz. Last time I got it though, I didn;t realize you should color your hair FIRST and then get the gloss done as the gloss will help lock in the color. Instead I got the gloss then 2 weeks later, got it colored (I went to 2 different places). My stylist said that probably made the gloss not last as long. I'm not making that mistake again! Getting my hair colored on Saturday and then the gloss on the 31st. I figure if I'm spending that much on my hair (my highlights and root touch up are usually $120 with tip and the gloss is $84 with tip. I have a friend cut my hair for like $10!) then I want to use a product that isn't going to strip it.

Geez, I wonder if I can move up my appointment. I was just doing some reading and it says not to pull your hair back at all for 3 days after. Ugh! I'm supposed to have all this done on Tues 9/3. We've got a wedding to go to on Friday night 9/6 then I leave for the trip the next day. Why does this stuff have to get so complicated????

Cost. Seems like last time I had my cut & color done it was like $150 after tip. I tip good. Shannon has been a great friend to me. Even took me to the medical center and stayed until after I was out of surgery when I had my breast aug done. ((Tracey had to work and I didn't want him taking off in case I needed him after!)) I expect the Keratin thing to run about $500 or so. She said it was like $125 for the first ounce then $100 for each ounce after. She knows my hair and estimates probably 4-5 ounces. Makes me sick to think about the cash leaving my hands and when I told my mom she totally flipped out. But, words don't express how it changes everyday life! Fighting frizz with so much hair is a LOT of work. When you get the treatment done it simplifies so much. If you think of that money as a per-hour investment, it's not that horrible. A lot of the reason I keep my hair as long as it is is because Tracey loves it so much. He fusses when I even get it trimmed. He loves it loooooong. When I first told him about the Blowout he was like, DO IT! He knows how much work it is to care for my hair. When I had broken fingers several years ago guess who had to do all the washing, conditioning, drying, and straightening??? Yeah! He "gets" it!

Because if it were easy men would do it ;) haha but it sounds like Tuesday to Friday might be ok, cause that is 3 days. Gosh, it's so hard being a woman sometimes!!

Who knew packing could be such a chore. Packed toiletries, and carry on bag for the cruise. I don't wanna even start with the clothes. Is it wrong that I have four bags? I know I didn't bring this much with me when we went with the whole family. 7 pairs of shoes. Who needs 7 pairs. Apparently me! Oh well. Thanks goodness for space saver bags.

How chilly does it get on cruises? Will I need more than 1 long sleeve t and 1 hoodie?

My plan is to pack my carry on as my 1st day in Disney/Embarkation day bag so I won't have to rummage through my actual suitcase too much before the cruise. So I'll have a carry on, suitcase and my Vera backpack. Do I bring my small or large Vera backpack? GAH. The more "can't believe it's so soon" posts - the more nervous I get about packing, forgetting something, missing out on something, etc...

I'm TOO EXCITED.

So...what I wanna know is who's been nominated to do the trip report? Are you all gonna try and do it live? Maybe have different people do different days?
