Free park hopper upgrade is an easy offer for Disney.
It costs them nothing to implement, but offers something of actual value.

Yep. The hopper adds value for those staying during MK party season And adds value to onsite guests buying LL.Free park hopper upgrade is an easy offer for Disney.

Interesting point - could Disney be seeing a direct decrease in satisfaction thanks to the amount of party nights?Yep. The hopper adds value for those staying during MK party season And adds value to onsite guests buying LL.
I’ve been to Ft Wilderness in the summer. Riding through the RV loops I counted 5 families with their own tent campsites without AC. Seems like it was hot sweaty days and nights for them. How bad do they want more bookings? They are advertising this luxurious deluxe resort accommodation

I am sure people aren't thrilled with it, but the parties are way too popular for them to budge too much.Interesting point - could Disney be seeing a direct decrease in satisfaction thanks to the amount of party nights?
I think so. Party season can really complicate plans. Closer to the holiday non-party guests are crammed into Wed and Sat, gets miserable but the only way to see fireworks and avoid 6pm closure. Parties hit 4x/week, then 5x. Nuts.Interesting point - could Disney be seeing a direct decrease in satisfaction thanks to the amount of party nights?
Didn’t you just say the Christmas thing was a “great deal”?I'm at the point where I might refuse to visit WDW during party season. Unless I want to go specifically to go to a party (obviously).
That was different, it was for your own good.Correct me if I’m wrong…but didn’t they ban us from that not too long ago?
Oh yeah. Expect park hours to return past midnight I’m sure. The return of FP+ and allowing resort guests to pay ahead of time to book rides will pack them in.
I mean, they have them for the subset of guests they like on specific days of the week, which I think is probably satisfying for the non-captive audience they want to re-attract.Oh yeah. Expect park hours to return past midnight I’m sure.
You mean the $pecial event after hour$ $ub$et of gue$t$ for an extra fee?I mean, they have them for the subset of guests they like on specific days of the week, which I think is probably satisfying for the non-captive audience they want to re-attract.
I mean the extended evening hours most Mondays and Wednesdays. You mean the $pecial event after hour$ $ub$et of gue$t$ for an extra fee?
Oh for deluxe resort guests? Yeah that’s not the people they like. That’s those awful DVC people that come too often and don’t spend much when they are in the parks. Most are even AP holders which is even worse. Bob doesn’t like me visiting so often when he can trick families of 4 to go all out and spend $8k there in a week for a once in a lifetime family vacationI mean the extended evening hours most Mondays and Wednesdays.

Those are the guests they like because they can trick them into paying sometimes more for a few hours others do for the entire day
But but but that’s not off-season…Annual Passholders Holiday Season Room Discount Boosted to 40% Off When Booked Early at Walt Disney World
