Im not. Im using what people who are there & been there are telling me based on what they are dealing with.Bookings are still down. A lot.
I would advise - and we got a pattern here - to not look at wait times on an app for a “guide” to crowds…or profits.
They arent lying but there lies the confusion. Disney is offering discount after discount plus many people here have indicated bookings are down nWhy would the people you know lie to you? There’s your answer.
Their statements sound a bit fabricated…They arent lying but there lies the confusion. Disney is offering discount after discount plus many people here have indicated bookings are down n
I dont know who they you are referring to but if you are talking about my cousin and lifelong friends who have been going for years upon years. Yes im caught they are lying as well as i am…. Gotta love the internetTheir statements sound a bit fabricated…
4 adults genie+ every day and a few ILL it adds up. This was May of 2022. We were there on the opening day of Cosmic Rewind. The parks were pretty crowded. I think we bought our tickets with the Genie+ add-on. I don't think that's an option anymore. We were probably there at the peak of travel taking off last year after Covid. Now it's tanking due to the economy.wow we did 6 days in the park and did Genie plus for 1 Park( mk) and 1LL (rise of the resistance) less than 100 bucks (3 adults).
Everything else we did standby or VQ. Full disclosure: the mom lady, aka me, doesn't do RnR or tower of terror or space mtn. So the kiddies did single rider some times.
I don't think they're lying. I'm sure that it feels just as busy as ever to them. Disney can do things during slower periods that make the wait times just as long as they are during average periods.I dont know who they you are referring to but if you are talking about my cousin and lifelong friends who have been going for years upon years. But there are undeniable indicators that point to lighter attendance such as lower G+ and ILL$ prices, the length of time that VQs remain available, readily available ADRs at popular restaurants, etc.
And that was basically the point i was making in the beginning & ultimately to us as guests thats all we really care about are wait times etc. So if wait times are still far from short & parks are not empty the experience people are having regarding this area is not changing drastically hence why people are saying what they are.I don't think they're lying. The weather wasn't the problem, the way they dealt with the situation most certainly was...as mentioned by other forum members too.Yes, they should know how to control the weather by now. Every day, no less.
But I thought Disney wanted lower crowds?More steep Discounts and gimmick tickets announced today…
…but hey…those crowds are “Up”
Everyone needs to look outside the box on this.Im genuinely confused and curious as well because everyone i know that have gone my cousin who is there currently all say the same thing. Place is far from
empty and lines are far from short… i dont know what to believe or take from it anymore

People who are saying attendance is down are not going by wait times, which are easily manipulated. They are going by other quantifiable factors, such as the alarming rate room discounts are being offered, the local ticket offer announced today (which is a steal) and restaurant availability, just to name a few. It's become clear now, that most the people who are saying the parks are quiet are those that either have never been or haven't been for a long long time.
Not sure what their agenda is, but it's giving people the wrong impression..amd may even tempt many to book an extra holiday to Disney on the back of it.

As per my earlier post...The parks are BUSY, I've been here 3 weeks and Disney and Universal are packed..very very busy.People who are saying attendance is down are not going by wait times, which are easily manipulated. "Feels busy" is not a quantifiable metric.

Who said that (with glitter on their nose in 2017 buying the dining plan)? But I thought Disney wanted lower crowds?
