Heard another bit from a source that I really wouldn’t call credible saying there’s a plan with Dreamfinder. Might as well basically say I heard from the bus driver but I still think it’s probable.
Well, we know from insiders here that there IS a plan to use Figment. There's also other plans. It all depends on what plan they actually end up going withHeard another bit from a source that I really wouldn’t call credible saying there’s a plan with Dreamfinder. I heard a rumor from another less than credible source that Buzzy will be used as Dreamfinder when he was a child.Heard another bit from a source that I really wouldn’t call credible saying there’s a plan with Dreamfinder. Nah, he’ll become a last minute young Peter Quill AA to explain to guests in the Coaster queue what the hell any of these niche references mean and how they relate to Guardians of the Galaxy whatsoeverI heard a rumor from another less than credible source that Buzzy will be used as Dreamfinder when he was a child.
So you're saying that because they are putting Inside Out IP over there, that means they will also put it in the Imagination Pavilion? I'm not sure I'm following the bouncing Figment hereConsidering the overall direction the upcoming Play Pavilion is going to assume, Inside Out replacing Imagination is now beginning to seem more likely (unfortunately enough for Dreamfinder/Figment fans).
What I'm trying to say here is that since the Play Pavilion seems to consist entirely of interchangeable hands-on exhibits and no rides, a full-blown Inside Out ride (as opposed to a simple M&G or hands-on exhibit) is now looking a lot more likely for the Imagination Pavilion than for the building that was once Wonders of Life.So you're saying that because they are putting Inside Out IP over there, that means they will also put it in the Imagination Pavilion? Nothing is certain for the Imagination building. What I'm trying to say here is that since the Play Pavilion seems to consist entirely of interchangeable hands-on exhibits and no rides, a full-blown Inside Out ride (as opposed to a simple M&G or hands-on exhibit) is now looking a lot more likely for the Imagination Pavilion than for the building that was once Wonders of Life.

Nothing is certain for the Imagination building.
Including it staying.
ProbablyWould the Figment proposal use the existing structure?
:-( I want so badly for them to just modernize the original concept, but it seems like that would have been easy enough to do by now if they were going to. Walking up the staircase to the DVC lounge is both exciting and depressing.Nothing is certain for the Imagination building.

True, but now that they have the elevator there the second floor is also in play, right? If they could essentially make the Play Pavilion the new equivalent of the Image Works, then they have all that space on the main floor to work with again.
Hey, what if Figment was your host for the black box IP-of-the-month experience?

I wouldn't necessarily think that just yet. If anything, the Play Pavilion is the most likely destination for the Inside Out characters. Conversely, I looked at the announcement of the pavilion as something of a saving grace for Imagination. Also, it seems there has been some push back from creatives like Peter Doctor regarding removing Figment.
Probably
The Imagination pavilion look has gone past dated and back around to retro IMO. It's like pulling out basketball jerseys from the 90's that people are paying to get replicas nowBased on some of Marni’s comments and past history, I’d say all of the original FW pavilions are gone the way of the dodo at some point. WOM, Horizons, Energy are gone. Imagination will languish to the point they raze it and start over. WOL isn’t coming back in old form, either. I fear The Land and The (former) Living Seas will follow suit with maybe SSE being the lone holdout simply because it’s the park icon, although GMR would beg to differ. FW is gone and it’s not coming back. Makes me sad, but life goes on.
