That was aimed more at figment. I wish we could just drop it and officially say we are using both and start cranking them out.

That's great that you found people, but not everyone can- unless they found them online first.
I'm over it now though- I'll still make some for whoever doesn't feel like making their own. I'll mail it to you for free as well.
There isn't a problem with wearing both- I just think we'd look more like a group if we did one.
Oh well though.. if I see someone with The Sledge ID.. I might just slam your head in the monorail doors.. jk. :wave:

But I don't think that'll help with the bickering. I'm not thrilled with wearing the same T-shirt for a 7-day stay [though I might just buy a dozen so I don't have to do laundry :lol:] and the concept of the IDs for WDWMagic members without actually identifying the website is a fine one.
I'm personally comfortable with both varieties, I'm just looking for members to say hi to at the parks. I can find them whether they're wearing the basic white card, Sledge's detailed version or a paint chip with their avatar and screen name on it. All are good ideas and none should be discounted or put down.
I've created one of the ones in the basic design and I've asked Sledge to create one of his for me [something tells me I took too long to decide and I might not get the 'Platinum Edition' version that was my first choice, but that's cool too
].
I intend to display both while in the parks, if I can without being too cluttered, because I like both! I'm looking forward to seeing members wearing either or both as well.
I think the original idea was intended to get us together in the parks. Let's stick to that thinking here on the forums as well and just enjoy the very good idea for what it is.
To make things easier, we should all just wear an ID made by Sledge and also make our own whites to wear as well, so we are able to wear both. This way, we don't have to argue over which ID's to use. And it won't be hard at all to look for both ID's while in the parks. It could even be fun, think of it as a challenge!
I really look foward to meeting other members in the parks. Everywhere I go, I'll be looking constantly for others wearing ID's. I also think that we should print out a few extra ID's in case something happens to them, or also to give to a fellow member after you meet them, like a way to save the memory.
Let's just end the feuding here, it's not necessary.

I think both IDs have their Pro's and Con's.
The original version is very easy to read and obvious. It would be clear right away that a person with a picture and name in that orientation would be from the boards.
Sledge's designs are very pleasing to the eye, but the combination of pictures could potentially be hard to read on a quick glance.
Personally, I love the idea and I think both designs are great. I'm having trouble deciding which I actually like better. I think I'll make one of each and rotate their use each trip I take to the parks :lol:

The thing with the blank ones is that they look like somethign a day care would throw together for a field trip. Where as mine look more like something an organization of thousands would have. Not a diss. Just a simple fact.

Perfect idea, that's the way to do it.
Do you have a pin lanyard? If so, you can place both ID's in the plastic thing on the bottom, and put one ID on one side, and one on the other.

I don't see why we can't just agree to wear both ID's, instead of wearing just one.

maybe you shouldnt wear ids so you dont know who each other are in park. I dont want to see "fatal fight at Disney'' in the paper.

Since Sledge and I will be there at the same time, we can probably end up posing with park guests, just like the characters. Even sign autographs too!

If you're in any of the same parks we are at the same time all you gotta do is send us a text message and we can get together for a quick ride. Maybe I can use your help in draggin Angela onto ToT. Haha. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, Jason and I were talking about meeting up, and he said that he'd talk to you first about it to make sure that it was okay, since this is your trip together.
I don't want to interfere or anything. I just thought we could actually meet up and maybe do a ride or two. I'll let you know what park we're going to on what day, and then we can swap cell numbers or whatever, we can deal with this all in a PM.
