But that's defeating the purpose of even having ID's. Companies do not issue different IDs.

Wow, I missed a lot tonight. I was at Six Flags Great Adventure (waiting in line for Kinga Ka for 4 hours sucks, by the way) and it totally wasn't worth it, didn't get to do anything. Everybody and their mothers from New York were down.

I've had a lot of people with request for ones so I guess everyone needs to look for the plain, boring white one amd the super, fantastic, neato Sledge one. :lol: I'll have the super, fantastic, neato Sledge one.

Totally uncalled for.

Like I said..or well..didn't completely say... I think that yours look great.. I mean, really good.

BUT here are the consequences

• Not everyone is going to use yours
• Being so disney-like and colorful, it will blend in with other disney related things that well- disney sells.
• People would think it was more of a cast member id

BUT again- DONT get me wrong. I LOVE what you have made, it just needs to be more plain. The point is to identify each other, not proclaim your really good photoshop, publisher, etc, abilities.

Sledge...I find your post complety offensive. I realize the white one's are plain, but that's the point, they are short and sweet. We are not going for artwork here. Throwing offence toward my creation because you feel yours is superior is just plain immature. We are here to get a short and sweet to the point ID, it is NOT to be a piece of artwork. All need to be uniform, or you are RUINING the entire point of having ID's in the 1st place.

Figment1985, JEDIsney, and myself have all been working very hard to get this idea off the ground, and want the Idea to work, however we need complete and full cooperation of the ENTIRE thread on the 2 ID's from the beginning. Your bashing the originial idea, along with discontent for uniformity of the ID's is completely missing the purpose of the entire thread. If you felt the ID's needed to be changed, you should have contacted me via PM, not posting on the site. I will not sit back and have all of our work completely ruined. I would like to ask that you only make the ID's completely based of the 1st post. This has pushed me too far. If you feel the need to bash and insult the people who made this entire idea possible, then I wouldn't do it where everyone can see you are just making yourself look stupid. If you feel you have such great ideas, why didn't you start the thread and do all the work for yourself, instead of letting us do the work, and you just benifiting from it.

My appologies if this comes off harsh, but it was brought to my attention and needs to be addressed.

I wasn't trying to bash the idea. I just think it would look incredibly dumb walking around with basically a blank note card with a screen name and a avatar on it. At least with a design it looks more organized like there was some effort behind it. That way people would see it and think it was part of some membership/group/etc. and not just assume it's some dude advertising his AOL screen name. :lol: I'd be kind of embarrassed to have a plain white card with a user name on it to be honest with you. A Disney design wouldn't be nearly as bad. Just my two-cents. People can do what they want. I was just trying to help out and make them a little more appealing. You know which one I'll be using though. :wave: Hey if you want one, just ask, but if you want to use a plain one, go for it. Just trying to help those that want a different looking one. I think that if it's that big of a deal for us to all have the same ID design, we should probably take a poll and see what the majority of the users want. Because I've counted plenty of people who have already commited to one side or the other. Just saying "We're all going to use this one" probably isn't going to work, there will always be scragglers on the other side. At least if there is a poll, once it's closed, there will be a solid result, saying "This is the design we as a forum have chosen." It would probably convince people to use the same one better. In the body of the pull, give a short pro/con list for each, so that there is no confusion.

Personally, I think Sledge's looks very professional and pleasing to the eye, but I can also definately see the plusses of using using the plainer, white choice, such as being easier to see against other Disney related things worn on your person. The decision isn't life or death for me, nor is it for most of the forum members, so I'm sure most people would go for whatever the poll result it.

Of course, this is just a suggestion, and I wouldn't be hurt if no poll came about. I just think this seems like the most likely way to have the forum members all using a uniform design.

I understand what you're saying. You're right, some people who aren't members of the board might mistake what the ID's are for. That's a very good point. Maybe since people see the ones you make, they'll be more interested and will want to make an ID, like you said. Which is great, because photoshoping isn't hard at all.

Thank you for trying to help out. I don't think we said you were trying to start crap, nor that we were telling people to use one and not the other. That's completely their decision. Looking for two different kinds of ID's in the parks shouldn't be that hard, because they'll either be your nice ones, or our boring ones, lol. We're making a fuss? Well then. If it's alright I'd like to showcase what I can make. If you change your avatar I can update your badge every two months. I just don't want to have to update it on a weekly basis, but after two months it will be fine.

Some of them are going to be Limited Editions just to be cool and unique. It will be determined by a first come, first serve basis.

I have some more. Not all Limited Editions are limited to five. Some are limited to 5, 15, 25, etc. Limited Editions are badges that will always have a set amount. Golden Editions will always be limited to two. There will also be a Deluxe Platinum which will be one of a kind, look slightly different and have a special marking.
