After looking at the entire Annual Report I find is very COOL that in one of the new line of t-shirts for kids and adults in the Consumer Products section that the shirts simply say DISNEY.Talk about some strong brand penetration in the market.

More importantly, the water show. This show clearly shows lion king characters - Animal Kingdom night show? Ver possible.
If you look carefully, it also prominently features Pirates of the Caribbean, Ariel, the whales from Fantasia, a black and white Mickey cartoon & Sorcerer Mickey's hat among other (harder-to-see) Disney movies. So with that knowledge (that it is a show largely based on Disney movies) and the fact that it takes place on water, the obvious options are TDS, DCA, DMGM & WDSP. Now with Fantasmic still more than popular, I'd be suprised if they added another nighttime show at DMGM. And given how low-key WDSP is (and the fact that it is already getting a whole bunch of things), I'd say the most obvious choice is DCA. Just my opinion though.

Aslo I would like to put in my prediction that this New water spectacular is going to be Illuminations ROE replacment next year. I've heard it rumored they've beenw orking on it's replacement for about two years and this is it's last year.

Just my opinion, but based on all the movie references in the concept art (and the fact that the only Illuminations based on Disney films (Illuminations25A) pretty much failed), I doubt it's going there.

I think I'm most excited about the watershow concept art!! It looks amazing!

And I too just heard about B&B closing on broadway....i'm so upset!!! I want to try and get closing night tickets!!

Did anyone else see the poster for HSM 2 on the site....awesome!!!

Yea...im a big dork...lol

Are they not mailing hard copies of the annual report??? I can't remember if we got one last year or not???

I think it's clearly not for I:ROE. The show clearly has a backdrop-type screen (where LK, Pirates, etc.) are. Therefore, this really wouldn't lend itself to a show in the round like Epcot needs. I would sooner think DCA would need this.

It actually looks like this is part of a massive rebranding for that park (which is good). It is getting a more consolidated Epcot treatment.

I am intersted to see that nothing seems to be included for much of WDW (save for Mania). I wonder if something else is coming down the pipeline later considering the classics upgrades, Epcot's 25th, and the increased attendance potential at DAK which could spawn a new land (not to mention overall increased attendance).

Just my speculation. 2007 is looking like it could be a great time for a Disney fan.

In the letter to Shareholders section, Iger reveals the name of Pixar's next production after Ratatouille, WALL-E, which is being directed by Finding Nemo's Andrew Stanton and is scheduled for release in 2008.

I don't know why they would build anything in Chicago. No offence but that place is seriously hurting. The unions have made it so bad for coprorations to hold conventions there they are no longer comming.. and some areas of Chicago are so bad that cab drivers wont even go there.

You make my town sound like a major hell hole  ... Wow... thats news to me.

Agreed with the unions though... (and I am a union supporter... as far as AFTRA & SAG are concerned). I mean... just to install carpet at your display in McCormick Place... the rates are pretty insain.

As far as the "bad areas" yeah... there are a few... but that is on the South side... but its always been that way, even dating back to the 1960's *shrug*

Downtown, in the Millennium Park area... the artwork they show on the link... that would be a perfect spot for that.

I have a hard time believing Chicago too...They already tried DisneyQuest there and it wasn't very successful.

The reason why DisneyQuest Chicago failed is because it was right next door to ESPNZone. Even the majority of the games in both places were the same.

My fear with that is, as great as the concept art looks, I don't want something so Disney-based in World Showcase.

As far as Animal Kingdom, there is room beyond Camp Minney Mickey. There's a temporary access road there, but the Animal Kingdom area extends a ways beyond. There is a massive construction project going on behind Asia that I've been interested in. May be nothing, and it's seemed to have sat still for months now.

Right..... Pixar land....

The Carland looks like an impression of the Cars spiner for WDSP - despite the fact the cars arn`t Cars themed, and all concept art and construction omits that bridge. Guess we can scarop that.

The night time show I`d almost certainly say is TDS. It`s extravagent enough, and looks to have the same Mickey on a raised platfrom that DisneySea Symphony had. Plus, single characters would have a poblem being seen on WS Lagoon. They`d be miniscule.

So now we have a title - Toy Story Mania. Maybe it`ll change, maybe it won`t. I hope the flat props in the show scenes come out better than they look - compared to the similar full dimensional props of Monsters Inc for TDL it looks cheap.

The Urban Entertainment center looks very similar to the original designs for the Burbank Centerm which in itself was developed into the original Pleasure Island concept.

I hate to say it, but the Pirates themed adventure and new park look too expensive for the US parks.

And please, remember Camp Minnie Mickey is a temporary placeholder.

To adress everything in order...

The Cars concept art to the right looks a lot like concept art I'd seen for a new extension in the Studios at Paris, and I believe there was to be a Radiator Springs are there too, so that may be what is referred to at "Carland". Of course, I've been out of the loop for a few months now, so the plans for that area might have been changed.

Yes, the Pirates area seems to be a part of the park concept art as well. Given the fact that it's got a Pirates area, Animal Kingdom wouldn't be the right fit. A 5th Gate would be nice, but Hong Kong might be needing it more.

It actually doesn't look like there's a screen in the water show, but it just seems to be part of the projection. Still, it looks like the show is very one-sided, and couldn't be used for Illuminations.

Building the hills and town for Pirateland may not happen at US, unless this is the new plan for the Western Beltway thingie or whatever it's called. DTD2 may be Pirateland...

Were not going to any of this stuff except for that dumb toy story ride which looks like crap! All the good stuff goes overseas! Walt would be so upset if he know all the good Ideas went out of America, his home land! They should really think about keeping some of this stuff hear were it belongs! Disney is an American co. so take care of the parks hear first then think about other places.

Blame the company and park management - they make the decisions. DLP and TDL pay TWDC / WDI for the attractions they get.

Clearly the urban entertainment center is in Chicago, look at the skyline, it's Chicago. And for the fool who said Chicago is falling apart, they are a moron, i was born and raised in Chicago for 25 years and it's not like that all!!!! It's THE best city in the World.

Toy Story live, i'm not sure where this is going, but it looks like another replacement for Stich???

Pirate-themed adventure is going in the Western way area.

nighttime show is going to AK, it will be in the new land where that concept art for the new Disney Park is being built, (CMM)

We all know about toy story

Monsters inc is going to MGM also

Carland is an overlay for test track, yet one more move to make epcot into pixar land

My thought on the new theme park location after reading the letter to shareholders, is maybe it will be in India. Iger talks about that being one of the growing markets, and how Disney has recently bought a TV channel in India that is for the childrens market, and that they are making a India version of HSM in Bollywood. Seems like they are expanding into that market.

Sorry my friend but I'm afraid some of what you said is not correct according to current sources

Pirate-themed adventure is going in the Western way area.
This concept art is for Hong Kong Disneyland's new pirate area and this is where the new Pirates ride will be placed and will feature mostly film scenes.

nighttime show is going to AK, it will be in the new land where that concept art for the new Disney Park is being built, (CMM)
I don't believe this is going to AK, due to the nature of upsetting the animals when they are sleeping.

Monsters inc is going to MGM also
Monsters INC going to Tokyo Disneyland, and will be an amazing ride, possibly much better than MGM's Toy Story Manina

Carland is an overlay for test track, yet one more move to make epcot into pixar land
This area is a new area for DCA to replace the route 66 area, it uses the same technology as Test Track but the cars will actually 'race'

Hope this helps, sorry to correct and as I say this is only info I have heard recently, this is by no means set in stone and there are others on here who will be able to confirm better than I.

Carland is definitely not an overlay for Test Track. Where exactly would they be having a bridge over the outside loops at Test Track? However, if you do look at the concept art, first of all the cars are identical to Test Track cars--two rows of three guests each. The track is banked like Test Track. The cars are blurring b/c they are going so fast...and the guests have their arms up in the air. This definitely isn't anything at WDSP. It's a Test Track-type ride. I'm just not sure where it would fit at DCA...and where the money would come from. Maybe this is John Lasseter's doing...I hope it ends up being a blended dark ride/thrill ride starting with some slower scenes showing off the various sets from the movie and ending with a high-speed race set to Rascal Flatts' version of "Life is a Highway" from the movie.

The nighttime show very well could be adapted for AK, but in the form shown in the pics, it's an obvious shoe-in for DCA.
