Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.:lookaroun
I called like others had suggested and just got off the phone with them. She looked it up and told me that for some reason that night of the party they are allowing late reservations for "normal" people.
Correct me if I am wrong, but Disneys policy concerning closing times and attractions is this.. You can get into the line, no matter what the wait time, right up until park closing time.. So you are saying even if you get in line at 6:59 as soon as it is 7:00 you should get out of line and leave the park? I think if Disney wanted to change something here they would have to close the line off at the current wait time. What I mean is that if its a 40 minute wait for space mountian, they would have to close the line off at 6:20.. That way they will not have any guests in line at 7:00.. I for one would not like to see that happen, but it seems like alot of you here do.. Maybe you should all go to city hall and complain.. Just my thoughts..
Happy Turkey Day!!!:wave::slurp:
Queue wait times are impossible to predict, with the apparent exception of the Tower of Terror, whose wait time is frequently posted down to the exact minute, 13. In order for guests to be "out by 7:00PM," WDW would have to:
Am I the ONLY one who says to my wife..." WE don't have time to ride that ride, the queue is too long and if we ride that, we won't be out of the park by closing time at 7:00PM.
I guess when I read that the park is closed at 7:00PM, I take it literally.
I do the same thing at bars, Malls and grocery stores.
No, I'm not patting myself on the back. I just believe that closing time is what it is...time to be out of there.
OP, please don't take offense. If I paid that much extra money for a hard ticket like MVMCP, I would be livid if non-ticket holders were there.
Nor would I, which is why I didn't have a problem with them roping off the attractions and shops to those who didn't have entrance to MVMCP. The restrooms though? I just didn't get it. Still don't get it. Won't ever get it. Would you be livid if the granted use of the facilities to those who didn't have a wristband?

I don't think I was rude.
Brutally honest, yes. A tad abrasive, maybe, but not rude.
Perhaps the OP should taken his complaint to Disney instead of a Dicussion board.
Thats the beauty of discussion boards, not everyone agrees with other peoples statements or thoughts.
Like someone eelse said, if you know what time the park closes, you should have gone to the bathroom and been out the turnstiles at closing time.
It's not rocket science. If the park closes at 7:00PM, then people should be out by 7:00PM
If I was in my local Pub that closes at 1:00 AM, and I lingered around until 1:15 AM and THEN asked if I could relieve myself, I'm sure they would laugh at me, throw me out and tell me to ______ in the parking lot.
When the park closes at 7:00 PM and there isn't a party afterwards, are people out at 7:00 sharply, or are they lingering, using the bathroom, shopping, etc?
I, for one, do not leave the park sharply at closing time. Shops are always still open, bathrooms had always been open, etc. Disney still wanted my business.
...
IMO, there aren't too many that leave the park promptly at closing time each and every time. We all ride the rides right up until closing time and then linger out, stopping at the shops and giving Disney our very last dollars.
:snore::snore: SHUSH Didn't you all hear, a baby is sleeping:snore::snore:I'm typing with 1 hand, holding a sleeping baby w/ the other.
