The fact that Disney is supporting his estate in hopes of increasing turnstile numbers in a pavillion is sickening.

Not sure how I feel about this, the show seemed dated to me back in it's prime, but anything to fix up that theater would be good, HISTA was in rough shape last November.

I don't think its necessary to equate the art with the artist. I love Woody Allen films, but I also think Woody Allen is a creep. Sure MJ did some disgusting stuff, but I don't see why that means we should boycott everything he has ever done.

On a different note -- I have no problem with the return of EO as long as it's a passing thing. I fully support getting rid of HISTA, but I'm hoping that a new show will be put into production to replace both HISTA and EO in the near future.

I wasnt sure how to vote on this one. I have never seen it before so I definately want to see it. Also, anything is better than HISTA which has put me to sleep the last few times I visited. On the other hand as someone said in the News thread, for a park based on the future, they are taking a giant leap backwards on this one. I guess to sum it up, I like it as long as it is temporary and I hope that when it runs its course something new takes its place, not HISTA again.

Dont know if he was ever proved innocent was he? Did they even go to jury or were they settled before they did? As for EO I am not in favor of it. I think they could have come up with something new to replace HISTA instead of bringing EO back. I have seen Captain EO and I did not really like it that much, but thats just my opinion.

I, for one actually don't care! I'm in the "meh" catergory too! Don't care for it... but I'm not upset b/c of it. If someone is excited for its return... then good for them!

I'm waiting for the first post ... sometime in June ... of someone going 'Wow, I wanted EO to come back, and I just saw it ... and it was awful'

Yeah, the show itself was really corny. MJ of course was a horrible actor and the writing was bad. Of course, MJ's dancing was great as always. But the show needs to stay retired, IMHO. If you haven't had the chance to see the show, you can go to YouTube and check it out.
