I would vote "meh" but I can't stand MJ, I think he was a grade A pervert and pedophile.

I saw it years ago, and really don't care that it is coming back. I know a lot of people are excited about it, so that is good, but personally I would have rather seen them put something truly new there. I doubt I will go see it after it arrives, but who knows, maybe I will see it once even though I really don't like Michael Jackson. I really don't think it will be a big draw, so I think they would have been better off putting in a new attraction there. But for all of you who are looking forward to it, hope you enjoy it!

This is true Monty. I have never seen the film. It will beat the hell out of HISTA and that isnt saying much.

I'm of two minds about it.
I was REALLY excited to see it when I heard it was coming back to Disneyland... as in I almost booked some last minute flight tickets to go see it, so I could join my parents who were going anyway. I've heard such great things about Captain EO and I couldn't wait to see it. :sohappy:
But I'm concerned that now that TDO has approved the budget for EO and the crowds will surely surge at the currently-desolate Imagination Pavilion, that they will consider the Pavilion "fixed"... and it will now be a long, long time before we get that new Imagination ride, which I would have loved to see much more

IMO there will be hardly any surge DL had a surge because it is mostly local people but this won't happen in WDW imo.

I hope he's right about that one. If it is, than I have nothing for Captain EO but unanimous excitement. Makes me glad I didn't have to pay for those flight tickets after all! (I would have had to miss a final, anyway... :lookaroun)

Dont know if he was ever proved innocent was he? Did they even go to jury or were they settled before they did? As for EO I am not in favor of it. I think they could have come up with something new to replace HISTA instead of bringing EO back. I have seen Captain EO and I did not really like it that much, but thats just my opinion.

Honestly, with all the different attractions, rides, and shows in WDW, people here are obsessing over the return of one show? Talk about giving a whole new meaning to the word fanatic.
