They're there! Here's a couple photos of mine from yesterday:

And netting work is going on:

I also got to go behind the station on the way to TNA. Only took one pic though because of the amount of employees watching us:

I got to walk by the exit, where I saw the photo/video pick-up area, in addition to a bunch of kiosks. I also walked by the crapload of lockers they've got up. It all looks great. And last night they were testing with the lights on the train and some people onboard (obviously not park guests or anything).

Thanks for the pics.

Is anything going to go on the side of the lifthill like was depicted in the concept art?

That's probably going to be the last thing to go up - the hinges (not really sure if that's the right term) for it to be hung by are present, so it definitely hasn't been cut... just waiting its turn.

I'm going most likely next Friday and Saturday... apparently Local 6 reported that team members get to ride next week, which can only mean soft openings will follow shortly after... crossing my fingers! Either way I'll try to get some pics for you guys.

According to Screamscape there is new buzz going around of the bad kind for the ride. The buzz is that a technical issue may have come up that would delay the opening of the coaster until sometime in Mid August.

I'm so ed about this not being open by now. I'm moving to TN in a few days and now my first chance to ride won't be til October... if it's even open by then.

Why is it Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit, and not just Rip, Ride, Rockit? What is Hollywood about it...that they record a video of you? It is music themed, not a "movie" theme. I would think instead of Hollywood they should have gone with Rockstar Rip, Ride, Rockit...where you are the rockstar. I guess this is the only way they could come up with to fit it into Universal 'Studios' for the theme?

I've never thought about this till now, but it is a very good question. Maybe the 'glitz and glamour' of making a music video is 'hollywood'. Thats all i can i think of
