I cannot agree with you more. Which is why I find your arguments so confusing at times.

I really don't try and argue much. I just try to prove my point, and show you why I feel the way I do. Not really go for the I have to show everyone Im right approach but as long as you get why I feel the way I do thats normally what I am going for. A lot of times its in a sarcastic way.

Either way if Sid and Gino get an ounce of help tonight and they can contribute as well, it will be tough for Detroit to beat us. Its just going to be tough PERIOD to beat them there.

Sorry, argument might not have been the best choice of words. Just felt like in one post you are saying that Detroit is the better team, but in another that the Pens should have won it in 6. One post says Detroit is a far deeper team, top to bottom, and another says Crosby should be scoring two pair every night and Malkin is putting up numbers playing with scrubs. Just a bit confusing is all.

I think this is one of the most even hockey games played in quite some time, particularly for the Cup. I am not even trying to predict anything at this point, just hoping to enjoy a well played game of hockey in which the Pens raise Lord Stanley. It should be a tough game and the winner will certainly be deserving.

However, having said all that, if Crosby or Malkin or Fleury, or even Staal to a lesser extent, get the fire going, and elevate their play to the levels they are capable of, I think it will be very hard for Detroit to keep up.

Nice little stretch for PA sports fans here. Phillies win the World Series, Steelers win the Super Bowl, Penn State makes the Rose Bowl, Villanova makes the Final Four, and now the Penguins.

Back to back for both Steelers and Pens??? Could it happen???

City of Champions once again.

Sorry Detroit, but hockeytown is a few hundred miles east these days!!!

SirGoofy's probably crying in his pillow right now!:ROFLOL:

Well, no I couldn't really care less. Neither of the teams are my team. I just thought(and still think) the Wings are the superior team.

And actually, as for your "Hockeytown" comment Missing20K, where were your guys before Sid and Gino? You know, when you guys were terrible? No where to be found, and your team was thinking about moving. Hockeytown my butt.

I shall pick first: Penguins again. They'll be even better next year as they'll have more experience, no pressure to win a cup, and a full year to prepare.
Doesn't the defending champion always have pressure to win, in pretty much any sport? (Special exemption for any post-championship season for the Florida Marlins.)

The team moving had NOTHING to do with it's fan base, so you are WAY off bro.

Detroit on PAPER from top to bottom has WAY more depth. However heart sometimes beats out talent.

Det sucked for YEARS then came Federov so I don't wanna hear about our 4 year funk.

Det can have the title "Hockeytown" I'll take "Titletown".

Pittsburg certainly outplayed Detroit the last two games, even then the Wings still had a chance to tie it up (darn cross bar). What I find amazing is how many of the Wings top players were playing with major injuries. Lidstrom had surgury on his ... um ... nether-regions after being speared in the Chicago series. Rafalski played with a herniated disk in his back. Datsyuk, Draper and Cleary all played injured too. Its not an excuse, every team has injuries to deal with. Then again, maybe Hossa's cursed. Well done Penguins (same time next year? :animwink:)
