I'm pretty sure no small amount of digital ink was spilled in exactly that direction.I suppose we could have levied the same argument about Pirates, though not as specific when they had the mist image of Davy Jones or Blackbeard at the very beginning of the ride, before we "go back in time" via the drop. It isn't as obvious though.
Actually in the WDW version of the attraction there is no time travel.I suppose we could have levied the same argument about Pirates, though not as specific when they had the mist image of Davy Jones or Blackbeard at the very beginning of the ride, before we "go back in time" via the drop. Well that's another reason to add to the list of a thousands reasons to make a trip out to TDR.Nope! They’ve still got the pop ups and the beating heart bride! Apparently they were pressured to adopt the modern attic so all they did was surround the original bride with a few of the modern wedding portraits and they left everything else intact, popups, bats, and all.
Seems the rules have worked better than the exception.I don't think it's *because* of the movie as much as the movie is another example is HBG not being bound to the a silly "rule" that may not even be a real rule. If any other ghost other than HBG than maybe I'd feel similar. I agree that its a charming ride, I just don't see a mistake.
It was amazing. As a bonus you get effects unique to there. Their library was amazing and the queue is very rich.Well that's another reason to add to the list of a thousands reasons to make a trip out to TDR.
That was a temporary ARG campaign. They took out the props after it ended.Nope! They’ve still got the pop ups and the beating heart bride! I guess I worded that a bit odd lol.Shareholders are suing about the hatbox ghost? wow
This right here!!! That's going to be the problem, and one they either have a plan for to address it ,,or they just don't know or care anymore.....will see.More than the incorrect placement, I’m bothered by the figure stealing focus from an already brilliantly staged scene. The hallway seems to be turning into a secondary visual when it’s absolutely the star of that scene. Not anymore…
The ideal place is where he is at Disneyland outside the attic on a balcony. Our insiders have said it is not possible to put him there in the WDW version but have yet to explain why.Is there no room left in the graveyard? I get that the attic is a bust because of Constance but surely there's room in the graveyard? If they must do something near the hallway, a simple cane and hat resting on the chair would be enough to foreshadow an encounter with the Hatbox ghost later in the attraction.
Absolutely! They could however put him where Constance resides currently. Yet, again they choose not to for "reasons". Frankly, I'd be ecstatic if they axed Constance (put intended) and gave us a mostly static, heart beat bride again or something of a similar, subtle eeriness. It's a real shame Hatbox will be located somewhere near the Endless Hallway...The ideal place is where he is at Disneyland outside the attic on a balcony. I can guarantee you the "reasons" are that Constance has been there for nearly two decades now and moves merchandise especially considering there is now a whole generation who don't remember the ride without her and WDI is not going to backpedal on fleshing out the Bride character.Absolutely! It's so jammed full of ghosts already. It's not like they have room for one more.Is there no room left in the graveyard? I'd welcome this. A subtle nod foreshadowing his reveal later on. It just makes too much sense. So, a definite no from the geniuses at WDI.*Sigh* I still stand by that it will just be his hat box sitting by the Donald chair and every now and then just his head will appear looking at the guests and disappear up to the point that we meet him later on in the cemetery...
Those lines were removed from the DL Mansion in 1969 and never were at WDW."This one can hardly contain himself, they all seem to have trouble getting through"
So are they just going to scrub this from the Ghost Host's narration?
