I admit I still dont get the placement of this show, as it just seems odd. Definitely not an area that lends itself to dancing for sure, as that has always been discouraged here. I cant imagine why this wasnt done on the Fountainview stage, in Future world. closer to the proposed attraction, and a bigger, more open area for guests. That having been said, I am excited to see the show, as a few of the musicians that I am friendly with are in it and the talent is definitely top notch. Marie

No clue, maybe America? It’s not perfect either way, and at least this is temporary. I’m just not sure why they dont do this in FW where there’s an empty stage.

Because... WS has an empty stage?

Also, I've watched FW shows by the fountain in October and the heat and lack of shade was unbearable. Can't imagine a summer show there.

So maybe they should just move the Disney Junior dance party in there then? If we’re just filling empty theaters that is.

I’ll agree with you on the heat. Same reason we rarely catch the castle show. WS just doesn’t feel like the right venue for this, but then again, GotG doesn’t seem right for Epcot IMO. Is what it is at this point.

Haven’t seen it yet only pictures on Twitter and I have to say this is so stupid. At over $100 ticket to get in and the entertainment is a guests baby? Love family entertainment but not going to watch.

I'm just saying, for me, there's worse things to be worried about. People seem stuck on the baby thing. It's really pretty harmless. Personally I think there are plenty of other things to be unhappy about and that's not one of them. But to each their own of course. Not saying anyone has to like it, I'm not saying it's the greatest idea in the world, but it's hardly the worse, IMHO. I'd take The Incredibles Tomorrowland Expo over some other things they're doing at the moment.

Sometimes things are just fun. (EDITED to say: I thought about it and agree we deserve better "entertainment" than a baby race and Star Lord and Gamora singing through the decades or whatever it is they're going to be doing)

It's actually fitting in Toddler Kingdom.

I find Star Lord and Gamora singing through the decades in the America pavilion more offensive on many levels than I do a baby race. But someone could use the same argument on me, it's just fun, why does it matter? I guess we all have our own things ... but people seem so focused on the baby thing. It's temporary. Life will go on. It's really not a big deal. (Again, yes I know the same argument can be used for this lol)

The stage was being set up today with decor / props. Just in case you forgot. Or pushed it out of your mind with a concious effort. I do not blame you.View attachment 287365View attachment 287366
I was really really really really really really really really hoping that they changed their minds after a few months from announcing this. Then this to bring it back to the forefront of my head again. Why do I think they cancel the good things announced and go through with the bad ones. Guess I’m overreacting but I hate the idea, hate the location and I’m one that likes both movies.

I understand they're doing this at Epcot because of the ride, but why in World Showcase? It ruins the atmosphere. What "country" are the Guardians from? Frozen made more sense than this, to be honest, even if it was yet another IP shoehorn.

If they really wanted to do this in Epcot, it should've at least been somewhere in Future World. Maybe in Innoventions, where nobody will have to witness it unless they want to. ;)
The music itself isn't the problem. It's not far off from the Flower Power Concert Series, The defunct Summer Concert Series or Eat to the Beat. The issue is Star-Lord and Gamora in Epcot.

For the record, I love all things Marvel, MCU, Guardians, etc. But they don't belong in Epcot. Put on this show in DHS/Cinemagine/Whatever the f it will be called? Go for it. I'm all in favor of that. World Showcase? A replacement for UoE? No way. Now, if they use Peter Quill to talk about energy and it's place in the universe? Ok, we can talk. But otherwise, just no.

your love of the MCU is why this is happening just remember if it didn't print money it wouldn't be happening. now go look in the mirror and feel guilty. ;)
