Getting kicked out of Disney for cutting in line...doubt it will ever happen!

The second touchpoint is needed to ensure nobody switched over to the Fastpass line after passing the entrance, yet Disney chooses to not use them

Cool! Thanks for the tip.
Hey any chance you have a list of the attractions that do not use the 2nd touchpoint as I don't really like standing in lines all day.

For a ride she admitted wasn't crowded. And I really doubt the other CM would have said all that to her, because that person could be in trouble.
I thought the same thing. No way the second cast member said to a guest that the first cast member should be fired.

But... if someone steps out of line to go to the bathroom, then they would have to go back to catch up with their family...
Some rides actually have a "bathroom pass". You tell a CM you want to use the bathroom, they give you a card, you leave the queue, go to the bathroom, return to the FP line, then be held at the FP merge point until your group comes up. I'm not sure how it works if you don't have a group. It's not very well known though...

That's one of the reasons they have Fast Pass. Its easy to regulate Fast Past. Its electronic, and the employees are good at managing it. It makes your two hour wait a 10 minute wait. The park doesn't want to confront line cutters, so they figure that if they're stupid enough not to get a Fast Pass, then they can wait in a 90 minute line instead of a two hour line. If it was that important to them they should just get a Fast Pass... If somebody tried to cheat the Fast Pass, they get sniffed out immediately.

Does it matter which ones have it or don't have it? I think that information would only be relevant if a user on here was trying to cheat the system and commit an act would be against park policy. Otherwise you should be happy to scan your bands twice.

It looks like you thought I was serious.....I can't really tell. But just in case: brazen line jumpers or worse the opportunists who are so dishonest about their cutting that they use well crafted excuses like "pardon me can I pass because my family is up there waiting for me" should have their passes torn up the way Mr. Hand did to Spicoli and then sent to City Hall for deportation.

I've seen guests fighting in line with fists flying when someone cuts in line. It's not pretty and law enforcement had to be called.

I saw a couple line cut 7 dwarves mine train on New Year’s Eve... they just “excuse me”’d all the way past everyone. I didn’t really want to start anything and ruin my trip.... once at a non-Disney park I told a group of teenagers that I didn’t appreciate them cutting in line. (I didn’t yell, didn’t cuss just said that I didn’t appreciate it) - one of them told their dad and he yelled at me and threatened to call security on me for harassing his kid. After that.... nope not worth it.

I did however yell out “hey Disney worker” at New Year’s Eve when multiple families were jumping the barricade fence and cutting into the TTC bus line from the pop century bus line. They really need to have security out there, the poor bus drivers can only do so much.

The most absurd thing is when you're at Universal and somebody tries to cut in the single rider line so they meet up with their group. I actually called a little girl out on this once. I was like "OK, this is the single rider line. Its supposed to be for single riders. Why should you need to be in line with your family, when there's no expectation that you'll be sitting together, you WILL be split up anyway!" Ultimately the family just got behind me when I refused to cede my position.

Not just line jumping, but big groups using the single rider line is a peeve of mine too. Especially if they try to convince the groupers to let them sit together.

There is nothing in the single rider rules that demands that you be a single park stormer. Families use single rider all the time, and there's nothing wrong with that. Of course, if they then demand to ride together (which sadly I've seen), that IS wrong.

Right, that's my main point. Nothing can stop them from getting in line in together, but they need to be efficient, attentive, and ride at the convince of the park. No disrespect to big groups, but they can kind of mess it up too be talking and not paying attention to the groupers instructions and slowing things down. The SRL is all about making things more efficient. You give up some conveniences for a shorter wait time. The main point is that why would you need to skip in front of me just to catch up with your group when you'll be split up anyway?

Just a sidebar: I know that people of all group sizes use it, and that's fine. There's nothing to stop it, and people using it does make things efficient all around. So why not come up with a better name for it that's more appropriate. How how about just a "flexible rider" line where your party is OK with being assigned anywhere being split up, and in exchange the park agrees to kill the line off when it needs to in order to always guarantee that its as fast or faster than the regular line?

I've had towt my fists talk one time and one time only. Guy didn't like it that I called him on line jumping. So he swung. I dropped him hard and fast. His friends picked him up and walked him out of the Splash line. I hate that I had to defend myself but he picked the wrong guy to swing at.
No you didn't. this reminds me when chrisfarley is tell adam sandler lies in billy madison and sandler just goes "no you didn't" calling him on his bull jive. you would have been escorted out of the park if you knocked someone out. nice try though online tough guy

When I was in line for FoP with my boyfriend the woman of the couple ahead of me left the line after half an hour, Fine, She gotta pee. But she came back with another couple. Annoying. However, I admit when I was in the mob waiting for Magic Kingdom to open over on the right of the castle I did sidle my way past a lot of strollers to near the head of the line. Hey, it was just me. Made a mad dash to 7 Dwarfs when the rope dropped.
