Getting kicked out of Disney for cutting in line...doubt it will ever happen!

And on top of it felt pretty stupid because I missed the FP entry for one of my most favorite rides at WDW. A ride I've ridden dozens of times. Most of the people in front of me in standby were college aged kids They probably thought "old lady".
Don't care what they think. Besides, they were probably so glued to their iPhones that they didn't even know you were there.

Let me make sure I understand this. So when I get in the 2 hour standby line for FoP, I don't have to use the bathroom. But after waiting for any hour, I really need to. And if I leave, I'm considered cutting in line when I return and am subject to removal from the park if a CM spots me? I usually tell the people standing behind us that I'm leaving to use the bathroom. I try to remember to tell the CM at the entrance. But Disney would rather I remain in line and pee in my pants? That explains why parents let their kids pee in line....

Or maybe when you leave to use the restroom, the CM at the entrance can hand you the Disney version of the bathroom hall pass.

I don't think this is what the OP meant -- I think the OP is referring to people who falsely claim they had to step out of the line temporarily, when they really didn't.

If the line is 2-3 hours, and someone has to pee, that's really not a big deal. That said, I have seen legitimate line cutting, where someone behind me thinks they can just step in front of me and I won't say anything. I typically solve it by saying "Hey, you know I was in front of you right?" So, ultimately, still not a big deal.

I don't have a problem with holding a space for others in line (as long as it's not an insane amount of people as in the other example) but if you leave the line, you left the line, you can't just go back to your old spot especially if someone's not there holding it for you. That's not how anything works in the real world so

If I see a kid (or adult that matter) leave the line, and then later return to join their family, I just assume potty break and don't care at all.

That is not really the same thing as joining the line later to skip waiting in line.

And honestly, a straggler kid cutting in line (never having left the line) to join their parents barely bothers me. 6 straggler kids and I am a little more annoyed.

I will say that while I saw some cutting, it was no where near as bad as it is at Six Flags. WDW staff would at least address it when they saw it.

Emphasis on 'When'.

Except of course for scooters cutting bus lines.

Those bus lines, late at night, when everybody is tired and cranky, are a powder keg waiting to go off. It seems they need more staff at the bus stops.

more buses lol

Does Disney have an official policy/statement somewhere regarding line cutting and/or saving a spot for those with weaker bladders?

It's generally up to the Cast Member as far as what happens when caught line jumping. I have personally seen people removed from lines for cutting at Peter Pans Flight and Space Mountain. At Peter Pans flight the line jumpers were escorted out with a manager. Not sure how that one ended. At Space they were walked back to the front of the line.

I had to laugh when dealing with a line cutter about a year ago in Test Track's single rider line. A lady was slowly working her way up through the line. She was just behind me, getting ready to make her move, when the guy behind her said "Hey, wait a minute - you were behind me!" She mumbled something about this being an open line, and the guy said "But you were BEHIND ME!" She got the message, moved back, and we had no more trouble.

I had an entire family jump over to the FP line in front of me on ToT. The second screening thingees were covered so you didn't have to scan your magic bands.

They better pick and choose carefully -- I saw the more popular rides last week using both set of Mickey heads.

We just got back and this was the least line jumping I have ever seen at WDW. We encountered it twice, my wife will not let people cut without shaming them. We saw it twice this time and my wife sorta block them. The first was a mom and child saying her husband was waiting for them, my wife responded with, he should have waited at the entrance of the line. The other time she was turned around and missed it. I typically don't stop one or two if it seems like there is family ahead, but anymore than two, well you can ride without the rest of your party, you were obviously able to do something else without the group.

I will back my wife every time, we have had people get upset with her, but in the end I feel my wife is right, at least about this subject.

I wouldn't so much say KICK THEM OUT of the park, but I think if CMs become more apparent at the issue and escort them to the end of the line, they'll get tired of getting caught and end up waiting.

A few years ago I saw two girls get booted out for line hopping in the haunted mansion. They were bawling their eyes out.
