I was watching the Brazil game when it happened, but I didn't see it. Either I'm blind (because I rewatched it numerous times) or the cameras didn't show it. I'm hoping the answer was the latter LOL.

My aunt saw it while watching the game. But, well, the cameras are not the same...

ESPN 2 cameras did not show it in an effort to keep the "fan" from getting any sort of publicity or airtime. It's something they have been trying to do lately if anything like that happens.

I was watching the game on ESPN2 so that's probably why.

There's another Brazil game tomorrow, and people are already going nuts. There's gonna be a barbecue tomorrow at my aunt's to celebrate the victory (yes, they are SURE they're gonna win). At least I'll get to eat some!

Wow, first Mexico ties Angola. Now, Ghana shots out the same Czech team that shut out the USA?!?

That Ghana win sure shakes up their pool. With a win by USA, all four teams will have 3 points a piece. Things may start to get very interesting...

All tied up, 1-1! US is clearly dominating the game right now, despite what the score says

USA is doing great, though they have gotten lucky a few times. With de Rossi getting a red card and whoever that Italian guy was scoring for them. But are fighing a brutal fight, and doing awesome.

Mastroeni should NOT have been taken out. Bad call, ref. Bad call.

I dunno which game you are watching as all three red cards were FULLY justified.

nice game ... 1:1 .. USA did good

@ Pongo

you can't translate GO! Germany that easy

Yup,
the US-boys showed a lot of heart and performed great. Even an American victory would have been well deserved, but they were missing the right amount of luck.

'Go Germany' I would translate 'Vorwärts, Deutschland'. To type 'ä' hold the ALT-key and type '132' on the numeric pad.

Good game

I don't think all three red cards were justified (the slide tackle especially). I agree there was some poor officiating on both sides. Cards were getting pulled out way too easily. Either way, this a big boost for USA.

 I know.

I couldn't remember what to say for that though... so I went with incorrect simplicity :lookaroun
