Have you seen the Shrinking series on Apple Plus…. Harrison is great in that… season 2 should be beginning soon
You see the problem is that when a lot of prominent actors hit a certain age they want to do as many different types of movies and TV shows as possible. And that is seen by many in the public as "just doing it for the paycheck". When in reality its just them trying to round out their career so they can be remembered for more than a few certain roles. Because in their mind, the worst thing for an actor to have happen is when no one remembers you or only remembers you for few certain roles.

That sounds like quite the exaggeration, Dial clearly looks like ford being that Ford wasn’t cgi in the de-aging sequence while red hulk is.

Except when he moves. For some far away shots it was really bad. Also why didn't they change his voice? They used his current voice and not the one from forty years ago. At least get a voice actor to do young Ford's voice.

Besides that movie was a complete disaster.

I disagree, I think his voice sounded fine. I appreciate that you don't feel that way, but some of us were fine with how he was de-aged and sounded.

It amuses me when actors are derided for doing work for money. Newsflash, that's why most of us work. For money.

I get that working in a creative industry will be different for some people in terms of why they take a certain job, but the level of judgement can be a bit much.

Ford can obviously afford to do whatever he wants, but if he does something just because it pays well, whatever.

I think his so-called negativity towards reprising Han Solo has been blown out of proportion as well. He wanted to be killed off in Jedi, but that was when his career was taking off and was probably worried he'd be expected to star in another three movies, if not more.

From more recent comments I didn't get the impression he was unhappy about coming back.

I completely agree. I don't know if he'll consider reprising the role again if asked, but it seems pretty final based on how things ended. At 82 I just don't see him wanting to come back for a third time. But I guess only time will tell.

Ford is just grouchy. He is just going for the simple stuff like Captain America where he doesn't have to act or do much movement. It just gives him something to do for a payday. He has stopped being an actor a long time ago.

Weird thing is this Red Hulk looks more like Harrison Ford than that CG de-aged Indiana Jones in Dial tone of Disney.
The funny thing is it would be all de-aged ford anyway. A big hypothetical if something like that would happen. It would probably be a 10/15 min scene and that's it. It would be a here's something for the fans type of thing. That's why I believe he would do it.
If that was the case first it wouldn't have taken 32 years for him to return to the role in the first place (Lucas was willing to pay him loads to come back for years but he never accepted)
I've never heard of Lucas actively trying to get him back in the role. There's never been active development on the sequels before Disney. There was was rumbling of he might be planning it a year or so before he sold to Disney. He always said he a plan to do it but nothing concrete. You really can't come back to a role that doesn't exist.

So from my vantage point, it seems as soon as there was an opportunity, he said yes fairly quick. Then came back again. Others have said they won't return to star wars as well, it's nothing new. Ewan said he was done and came back. Portman says she wants to come back after saying no. RDJ was never coming back to the mcu. All it really means is, for the right price.

I hear you but I disagree, I just don't see him coming back for a third time for any price. At 82 he just seems like he is done with that role. I won't say never because I can't see into the future, but based on how things look right now it seems very unlikely.

But who knows maybe after his couple of appearances in the MCU he'll be ready to come back again. Only time will tell.

Agreed. I think the only actor that Lucas ever disowned from the role after ROTJ was Dave Prowse. He was banded from all Star Wars events for guessing correctly that Vader was Luke's father.

Does this not coincide with Knight leaving from the Rey movie? So its possible that Kinberg is taking over writing on the Rey movie and its expanding to a trilogy rather than a single film.

Interesting though, we'll have to see where this goes if anywhere.

He hasn't even started writing it. And he's doing a thousand things. So...

So basically nothing. Everything is in limbo as usual. It is for the best.

The important thing is to occasionally release a press tease…so they can act like they have a clue. When in reality it’s getting close to 10 years of misfires and sweeping the remains under the rug.
I guess we'll see what happens once Kennedys contract is up in a month or so. Or is it?...................

It's an interesting thing to have come out this close to the end of her contract. And to have her name attached to as producer. Sure a producer title can be changed, but why not just leave that part unknown? Is this a play to stay? I hope not. If Disney is smart, all projects except mando go away. Once new leadership is in, then you can start a new road map.
