Was the character technically ever really removed since the last publishing? Or is this just inclusion since the last publishing, ie the character was never included until now.
Good question - Article is indicating the character wasn’t there in previous publishing, but doesn’t explicitly say that. Does say a Mandalorian book also published by DK was outright canceled when she was fired.

I'm not a big follower of the Encyclopedia, but my feeling is she was never included previously, so this is a new inclusion rather than a removal and reintroduction.

As for Acolyte, I have a feeling those characters may be included later as well.

Say "Yes!" to everything just incase things move forward but don't help them move forward.

Skeleton Crew looks great. Andor will be great. Visons season 3 will likely have great episodes. Star Wars is truly dead. ;)
Yet the Skeleton Crew figures kind of suck. They will be at clearance is three months. The wolfman pirate is nice though. Were is the Urkel pirate?

Is the decision not to reunite the original cast for the sequel trilogy considered one of the greatest cinematic mistakes of all time?

In Hollywood history, few creative decisions compare to the missed opportunity of reuniting the original Star Wars cast. While there have been massive financial disasters and mismanaged franchises, none match the cultural weight and emotional stakes of this decision.

For a franchise as legendary as Star Wars, the failure to deliver a final, meaningful reunion is not just a Hollywood mistake—it is arguably the defining example of how mishandling beloved characters can damage a cultural legacy. It remains a stark reminder that nostalgia alone cannot carry a story, and failing to honor fan expectations for such iconic characters can have far-reaching consequences.

Absolutely. I've thought about it, and I can't come up with something worse. The anticipation to see the big 3 together again, to go on one more adventure, was huge. JJ and especially Kennedy, should be ashamed that they made such a poor decision. It's embarrassing.
