Watching the game now-hey, Jackson, you should make sure you have actually carried the ball into the end zone before dropping it to do your little celebration dance.

As a Packer fan, I'm so glad the whole Favre thing is over. He retired, end of story. He pulled this crap at the end of every season for the last few years-retire, don't retire, retire, don't retire...I'm glad Packer management stuck to their guns and said no, thanks, moved on, Aaron is our guy now. Favre was a great QB and I will hopefully be able to remember his years as a Packer fondly again as soon as the bad taste for his behavior in the preseason the leaves my mouth. I can't help but wonder if he's rethinking his decision now. I watched him on the sidelines the last two games and he looks like he's lost his enjoyment of the game. That was one thing about Favre, even when the Packers weren't doing well he looked like he was having fun. That's gone now. He should have stayed retired.

Actually, another controversial call was made earlier in the game and people cared about it.
This was week #2. Imagine if this was the Super Bowl. (Again, I'm calling it as I see it...I have no "love" for the Chargers...I'm much happier that Denver won.)

So, last night the same thing...I mean the exact same thing...happens again. Jackson clearly did not carry the ball into the end zone...and you didn't need a replay in slow motion to see it. It was pretty obvious at full speed. Both officials near the play missed it and blew the whistle calling a touchdown and the paly dead. You can clearly see the Dallas player reacting to the ball on the 2 yard line, then stops because of the whistle. The Dallas player would have recovered the ball, without a doubt.

Nobody seemed, or seems, too concerned...;) Why??

Because the outcome was correct, just as it was at Mile High the day before. As a Cobowy fan, even if they had lost, I feel the outcome is correct. Officials in the NFL can not, and should not, be put into positions to make subjective calls such as that.

I personally didn't watch much of the game...I was flipping back and forth so I don't even know of the play you're talking about.

That being said...does it make it right? What do you mean the outcome was correct? Are you saying, in the San Diego/Denver game...if the correct call was made and San Diego got possession...Denver would've got the ball back and scored? They would've magically got the ball back considering that San Diego would've just taken 4 knees? So, no...that outcome wasn't correct.

Subjective calls are one thing...but if they can't make calls (ESPECIALLY IN THE PIVOTAL POINTS OF GAMES!)...then yes, they SHOULD be held accountable.

If that ball didn't cross the plane of the end zone...and it was called a touchdown...no matter what the score, that referee should be held accountable for that bad call.

I agree with the "the play is dead once the whistle is blown" rule...what I don't agree with is the whistle being blown at the wrong times. If players are playing through the whistles, injuries will occur.

I never understood that logo. It's like there are three stars on your team...but yet the whole team (with those three stars) is going down in flames.

No no.....
The stars are a TN thing: Three divisions of the state (east, middle, west).
The flames? That just shows how fast Chris Johnson can run.
I prefer the other logo we have with the sword, myself.
Also prefer the old Pats logo...

Dang, that's crazy. Can't wait for the first meet-up.

These 2 teams will play eachother on November 2nd at 4:15 p.m. Eastern time zone on a Sunday. I looked at some of the other games around this time and I think this one will be the biggest game out of all of them. So good chance that a lot of people will be able to pick up this game.
