Foods you AVOID while at WDW...

The snails are great during Food and Wine Fest!!! Glad to see someone likes them!

I liked the snails too! I tried them at F&W last year and they had a unique texture but were good. Of course, I'm sure anything drenched in the amount of butter they put on the snails would be good too. :animwink:

The only foods I avoid in The World are the same ones I avoid at home, like shellfish, and the in-park McDonald's. Anything else I'll go for, even a regular WDW burger. In fact, one of my favorite things is to get a burger and fries at Pecos Bill's and then go load up at the toppings bar. I love the free cheese sauce!

I agree with the burgers and fries a few have folks have alluded to especially McDonalds and in the theme parks. However, I love a GOOD burger anywhere, and really enjoy the one at Beaches and Cream.

Churros and Funnel cakes. I just don't like that feeling of oil dripping down my chin when I bite into a Funnel cake.

All of the quick service at the Studios. ESPECIALLY the ABC Commissary. :hurl: Nastiest food on property.

Heck, there is so much butter and garlic on the snails that you cant go wrong.

They taste faintly like seafood to me. Just a bit chewy

The only place I don't like eating is the table service restaurant in the Mexican pavillion in Epcot. The food wasn't that good, ecspecially for the price. (and i looove mexian food) I don't usually discriminate against too many foods! lol!

I personally like a lot of the hamburgers in the parks, I've had a couple bad ones, but for the most part they're always good.....or maybe i'm just starving? I'm not picky so I'll eat anywhere and think it's good!

If the CS hamburger buns are the same as they had last May I will not be eating CS hamburgers. The whole wheat buns tasted like sawdust,:hurl: they were that dry. Of course I'm a little spoiled since DH is an awsome bread baker:slurp:

I have to ask you to explain - I have a vision of him running away being chased by a caesar salad! :animwink:

Actually it was a Caesar salad...:lookaroun It was at pre Tutto Italia Italy. He got wretched food poisoning. However, it was instantly after eating it. My mother-in-law says he ate way too many sausages in Germany at breakfast.

We're not picky eaters and we enjoy eating the most at WDW but the worst ever was Restaurant Marrakesh. I hate walking by and just smelling the food....

I can't bring myself to even try a turkey leg, they look horrid and people eating them look horrid as well. [Apologies to those who enjoy them]

Had a churro once and was singularly unimpressed. Seemed to me the dough was designed to create the texture and ensure the long 'stick' wouldn't fall apart, without regard for flavour. [Like food designed by a Structural Engineer]

Anything at the San Angel Inn... Mush that's either spicy-hot but flavourless or methane-producing :lookaroun mush that's bland... Never found anything on the menu I enjoyed in four attempts.

Ugh, I agree about the turkey legs....I can't even look at those. :hurl:

I also avoid the baklava in Morocco since I found a hair baked into it, and pretty much anything seafood since I don't eat any of it. Anything else is fair game. :)

As for the turkey legs...I never buy one. They could very well taste amazing but when I go in the summer it's just too hot for such heavy, savory food. I can't even look at it as I walk briskly past the cart to get to the two mountains in Frontierland.
