Cool pic, never saw it before! Here`s the promo poster as used in town square:
Good that it has some wear and (I guess) some pedigree to it. I know from some first-hand investigative work that there was a glut of fakes produced for the eBay market of this particular poster design a couple years ago (which I cautioned against ad infinitum at the time)...I was given one of these by a fellow collector friend on cardboard, measuring 16"x20". He was told that it was originally used inside the park -- whether or not it was the MK, EPCOT, or elsewhere I have no idea. It's definitely got some wear on it and shows its age, but overall looks pretty nice all things considered.
Comedy Warehouse, back in Pleasure Island's heyday.Great pics Figment! Where was that shot of the Magic Journeys sign taken in that kinda shape?
I really love this pic:
Hard to believe this is where Mouse Gear is now.
I think.... :lookaroun
EPCOT in MK? Too cool. Here`s the promo poster as used in town square:
Ew.
This just makes me sad
I have that!
I miss the verticality of EPCOT Center. Only vestiges of it remain—a couple restaurants in WS—and incredibly the Electric Umbrella.I really love this pic:

Ironically, Electric Umbrealla only went vertical for Epcot `94. Stargate was single (split) level. Closing Odyssey needed the prefab upper deck adding.I miss the verticality of EPCOT Center. Only vestiges of it remain—a couple restaurants in WS—and incredibly the Electric Umbrella.
A moment of silence for lost verticality.

Now there's the one thing I don't miss about EPCOT Center; the Exxon-inspired idea that the "Future World of Energy" would mainly consist of oil provided by the Exxon corporation.
What's wrong with Exxon?
Bias much? :lookaroun:lol:
We need UoE to go Green!
