I don't think I'd really call them sleek at all. And simplicity is just one of EPCOT's defining attributes (or is supposed to be).

I think this is just perception vs. perception.:lol:

They look fine and very sleek to me. If you can draw it without lifting a pencil, it's sleek.:lol:

What do you have in mind, though? BESIDES the originals...;):D

Yes, it certainly falls within the realm of opinion. To sleek isn't just how you're able to draw it, but being of a smooth, snazzy, and often curved or rounded quality.

That's what I was saying, that I think the originals would work just fine, but to make them modern you could expand them into three dimensions in certain locations throughout the park, like at each pavilion entrance. For a good example, imagine the sphere on the spires of the Universe of Energy sign as the original logo expanded to fill the shape of the sphere. (If I had any skill at photoshop, I'd just show you :hammer:) I would, however, probably devise a new logo for Mission: SPACE, I bet something neat could be done with a circular star shape. Otherwise, all of the originals still work.

True, and true...:D

You know that there is a M:S logo...in a way? It was going to be for Journeys in Space.

Where the hell Martin finds these things, I can hardly fathom. That logo is okay, I just can't help but feel that there could be something really cool done with a star shape that would totally jive with the rest of the set. It seems like they got lazy with the logos starting with Wonders of Life.

I agree, WoL's always felt blocky. It should have just been a stuck figure like in the never used WS one.

And WS was the last one to be designed, so....

No I think new signs altogether sorta like the ones at the entrance with the word Epcot at the top and the logo at the bottom.

Ah, yes! :D Those are only around the entrance though, I agree....I like those for both color and style.

And the Logo of course:D I always grin when I see it.:D

Interesting. Now the question would be the new logos. What and how would they be? It can be something like what is seen in the post-show from SSE. In fact, some of the logos shown there could work for, say, Test Track. :lookaroun:lol:
I have ideas for each Pavillion logo. The ones for Mission Space (Adventures in Space) Test Track'(WOM) The Seas' The Land and Imagination are pretty simple' just put the old logo inside the swirls. I also have logos designed for Guest Relations and the restrooms.

Amazing collection! But somewhat obsessive... :lookaroun

Since I live where hurricanes drop by every other week, I usually have to pack everything in safe storage containers. :(
