How do you make a rollercoaster look like a door? I have so many questions (for another thread, obviously).

DHS has the strongest attraction lineup behind MK for me personally, but simultaneously it's also the most thematically incoherent of any of the parks. They basically systematically destroyed the original theme of the park over 30 years until all that's left now is just the dressing of the facades with no actual substance behind it.

I've been saying for a while that their most sensible option to restore thematic integrity to DHS is to make it the "non-Disney IP park". Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, Muppets, throw all of that in one park. It's actually not that far from that already, but they should be explicit about saying that's what the theme is.

I think if Animal Kingdom wasn’t so bus dependent it would get more attention from guests. It’s kind of far from most things and doesn’t have any sort of skyliner, boat, or monorail access. The skyliner between Hollywood studios and Epcot makes parking hopping so easy that you can visit both in one day with minimal interruption. But trying to get out of Animal Kingdom or even to it just takes a lot of time.

And since that park closes so early there isn’t much of an incentive to head there after lunch. I think if AK was located closer to DHS and Epcot or even connected to the same skyliner it probably wouldn’t have as low crowd levels. I definitely think that park needs more rides but it should also be easier to get to for guests.

There’s real concept art floating around out there right? Or did I make that up
No concept art but Hollywood Studios VP Dan Cockerell confirmed it was considered for the park in the 2000s, but was scrapped as there weren't enough family friendly attractions in the park

Hmmmm they did say at D23 that the MK beyond big thunder plans were going into overdrive….

Yup. Makes sense. And the mountains would blend well with Big Thunder…

Maybe move Villains land to DHS since it is more of the edgy/teen park (a big e-ticket and some flat rides). Sadly they will be accused of copying Epic Universe but it would be a home run for fans.

Redo Imagination at EPCOT

Go through with tropical Americas at AK (Indy, Encanto, and maybe Up or Coco). They will probably look to put Zootopia somewhere (I have doubts it is going in the tree of life)

This is their response to Epic. Tons of projects everywhere. Announce them OFFICIALLY at D23 and get shovels in the ground!

I'd welcome another Radiator Springs "Beyond Big Thunder Mountain" if they built the whole thing. Visual fit with BTMRR and could provide a nice Rt 66 transition (road) over to whatever else they want to build.

Visual fit and would be popular but very lazy of Disney.

We are going to Anaheim for the first time this august and Radiator Springs is probably what I'm most excited about because it's exclusive to there.

Carsland would also give another sit down dining location with Flos and quick service with the cozy cone. Plus two all ages rides with Maters and the dancing car ride (which is kinda meh to be honest). Maybe they can change the third ride (again) to make it a little different. Does Cars merch still sell? That is probably the determining factor for Disney. Is there enough space beyond big thunder?

I know that Radiator Springs is well received, but I personally have very little interest in that coming over from LA - I'd much prefer something new. Also, would they bring over the Test Track ride as well? Seems odd to have that in EPCOT and MK.
Not really any more redundant than 3 trackless rides (2 in 1 park) or 4 (5) spinners (3 (4) in 1 park).
