So far as I know, moving south in the basement it goes food prep, then mechanical, then electrical and then there is the original fountain pump room underneath the gallery/Club Cool area. If the fountain is still pumped from down here (I think it is) perhaps that is why it went dry.
I can`t say that. I imagine everything near the fire was switched off as a precaution. So the fire DID damage the fountain?

So you would not mind a fire if it caused enough damage to force Disney to remove the Millenium Canopies and overhaul the Innoventions buildings?:lookaroun
Ah, gotcha...Hope it's OK...It was just through a refurb, after all...
...A nice pyro malfunciton from ROE could be arranged...:lookarounNo, the whole Innoventions/FoN plaza needs such an overhaul I would not mind at all.
But you didn't hear that from me! :lookaroun
Use the term refub lightly Dubbz. The fountain is slowly being left to malfunction back to half-assed, barely worth operating shows shape.

And really? Is it that bad? Sheesh.
(I hadn't seen it yet, so I don't know...)
No, you didn't expect too much, you expected Disney quality...Something lacking these days.Does the inferno barge have wheels by any chance? :lookaroun
And its not THAT bad (yet). The thing is if they keep going without giving it attention, it soon will be back in that state. They generally mini-refurb it just before the holidays to get in shape again so hopefully that will fix some things.
Perhaps my expectations of the refurb were too great though? But really, when the thing is walled off and down for about two months, is it too much to expect that all the nozzles be working properly? I mean why is it that 3 months after a two month refurb there are multiple shooters that are crooked or barely work (yes, already, sad isn't it?), a side arch nozzle that is crooked, fans don't go off like they're supposed to for shows, one or two supershooters only go about half as high as they should, and to top it all of, the center fountain that should be able to shoot water 150 feet high isn't even operational. :dazzle: :brick:
Tell me, did I expect too much? I mean, when the thing reopend, I wasn't expecting lasers and fire and new rotating nozzles or anything. All I wanted was some new/updated hardware to bring the fountain back to a state where everything worked like it was supposed to. You think park ops and upper management would want that, too, but I guess not.
The HOP team had a hand in the ruining of Epcot.:animwink:No, you didn't expect too much, you expected Disney quality...Something lacking these days.
That's a shame, though...Can we get the HoP Team over in EPCOT?:lookaroun

Would you care to leave some information rather than a snippet?

Yes, FON has been empty since the fire and everything else around appears to be open as normal. I will look again tonight though.
Eagerly awaiting...

It's not completley ruined. Yet?Tell me, when was it ever decided that Epcot was ruined? Ruined is a strong word, too strong at least to describe Epcot..
