Electrical Fire At Epcot

Avenue of the Stars circles all around backstage behind World Showcase. You know when you go "under water" on Epcot Resort Boulevard? The backstage road at Epcot is right next to you :D
(see here)

So anyhoo, follow Avenue of the stars around World Showcase to just behind Italy... and lo-n-behold, there appears to be an access road to the RCFD station on Buena Vista Drive at Victory Way. :D
(linky - when you pass by that Fire Station, look through the trees and you can usually see World Showcase)

So I would preume the fire engines came out of the station there, entered the backstage area behind Italy, travelled behind American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, and France... then "underneath" the waterway between International Gateway and Boardwalk, then continued behind Canada, UK, Millenium Village, The Land, and The Seas, then entered on-stage at the area I pointed out earlier.

[/Disney CSI] :king:
HEH.:D:sohappy:

Anyway we can get back there?:lookaroun

It's called fire engine red for a reason

Sorry Dave, over here the Post Office claimed that particular hue for their post boxes. If proof be needed, I'll take a little pic of the id plate on the appliance when I'm back at work.

Also, as I've already stated my hatred of abbreviations, an AFA stands for Automated Fire Alarm. This place has to learn to calm down on those damnable written shortcuts. ;)

Sure. Plop down two bennies for the Backstage Magic tour. ;) You enter backstage at the gate in question near SSE... hop on a bus at the loop in question, and ride on Avenue of the Stars till you get behind American Adventure. :D

Wow! Hope nothing terrible happen! :(

I wonder if it was age or great overuse if it was the A/C unit.

On an different note, the possibility of a Future World parade is impossible...

How can they have a fire at EPCOT?
Isn't EPCOT perfect- like the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow?
There can't be a fire at EPCOT.

:)
Actually, the overwhelming response and lack of damage serves to show off the EPCOT building codes that were enacted as part of the Reedy Creek Improvement District. Centralized alarm notification systems, etc.

I didn't see any damage today, and the building was open. The only weird thing was that the Fountain of Nations was completely dry.
