Just saw a fresh baked video. It looks like the Q went from one of the worst to one of the best in the park when you consider space, shade and atmosphere. I’m guessing wait times will go up now.

Makes me start thinking of other Qs like Peter Pan. Not sure why they re waiting on using that Heraldry shop space for an extended Q.

It is too bad that Disney can not implement a stroller size limitation like airlines do to luggage. I'm sure that if they did there would be an uproar.
I remember the good old days when people used traveling strollers to go out and about to places like Disneyland. now some of those strollers are bigger than a smart car and they are just as expensive.

If Disney could put a limitation it would be great. It would also help ease concerns with safety because people wouldn't have dozens of little crevices to hide stuff.
to make good with guests, Disney can offer stroller exchange service for the day. If you arrive with a smart car sized stroller then they can refer them to the stroller area so they can leave that huge stroller there for the day and you would be supplied with a smaller stroller that would navigate easier in the park.

Of course the best thing would be for parents to actually make their children walk. I personally think strollers were meant for small children but i see so many children that look like they are 7 -10 years old.
I'm sure many could use the exercise and it would force them to actually enjoy the park instead of getting pushed around the park while playing video games on their phones.

did i quick google of children in strollers and this is what popped up. are we making our children lazy?

covered their faces for privacy of these children

and look at some of those strollers and the waste of space. They could probably fit a spinner and queue in that area LOL

I almost got banned from micechat's facebook group over this stroller discussion. These people have no idea that they are ruining disneyland so that their child, sometimes 8 YEARS OLD, can be lazy. I'm sorry, but if you are fully capable of walking around disneyland but would rather not, you don't want to be there bad enough. I walked around WDW by myself when I was 6 and thinking further back, my second and third birthdays were at disneyland and there were no strollers involved then either. Kid gets tired, throws a tantrom, that is part of life. Go home at 3 pm after the parade.

I feel like after both the refurb for Main Street and the Dumbo Queue completed, this post kind of derailed into a discussion about expanding the queues in NOS and issues with the over abundance of strollers in the parks.

Part of the problem in my opinion is that some parents don’t want to bother with parenting their children.
Instead of being involved and actually create lasting fun memories they prefer to put their children in the strollers and not have to deal with them much. They give them a phone or tablet and acknowledge them only to yell at them when they are getting off the strollers.

Add to that many parents are also glued to the phone and not have to worry about loosing their kid because they are strapped in the stroller.

Crowds play a big factor. We wish my 2.5 year old would stay in the stroller more. We have a really light weight, compact stroller (smaller than the DL rentals) now that he’s a toddler but he hardly wants to sit in there. So basically my back takes some major punishment at DL from holding him all day. We try to put him down and let him walk when we can but with as crowded as the parks are we’d just rather he not get trampled. So basically there are very few areas in the park we feel safe with him walking around.

See, that’s understandable. As a general rule, I don’t have a problem with strollers, as long as they are a reasonable size. The double wide/jogger/ etc styles are the problem.

I say get rid of Club 33. Having it be in more than just Disneyland makes it no longer special, plus even just at Disneyland it's no longer special since world leaders and royalty never stop by anymore.

Sometimes, I can't tell if you're joking or not. If the current entry price is any indication, to many, at least to the people that can afford it, it very much is special.
