Well I have ridden up front but not with a girlfriend. I rode with my brother a few years back and it was great view especially when coming at another monorail on the opposite track as it makes for a great picture!

I have a great picture of my (then) girlfriend as we were approaching Epcot. Two of my favorite things were in the frame at the time. But, just like the current version of SSE, she disappointed me in the end. :lol:

I hope I can ride up front again and have someone take a picture of me and SSE. That would be nice.

Riding up front was always a highlight of our trips. Last year, my nephew even got to "drive" - what a great memory!

My daughter and I got our monorail pilot license a few years ago. We didn't ask to ride up front, the pilot came to us and asked us to.

I hope the rides up front return someday, but really don't look for them to.

In my opinion, that's when it was actually special to ride in front- when you were randomly asked. I think the magic of it was ruined once guests started asking to ride up front. I hope they don't go back to allowing it.

Well, as long as asking to go ride the front isn't very noticeable.

We always asked, except the first time ever, in which a Monorail Pilot came up and asked us to. He later told us you could ask for the front.

I loved riding up front - I didn't realize it still hadn't returned. They were still doing it at Disneyland in October but I never got a chance because there were tons of people wanting to do it. I do hope it someday comes back, since it's such a special experience for people.

I did it once and I loved it. Next time I am at the World I will certainly miss that, unless of course the option to ride up front is made available before that.
