My dad (who I realize is no expert) said it will affect all regions. He says a vaccine is way off, folks won't even want to uniformly BE vaccinated, and those companies still hanging on right now will have to pay the piper at some point. He says we'll look at 2020 as the good old days.

Our source is also the state data. But I don't think any of these numbers show a downward trajectory. God knows I hope they do soon. Haven't seen today's numbers but Orange County was trending down slightly as of Monday.

They have had mask mandates for months and more restrictions than the rest of the state, so it’s perplexing for sure. My opinion is that it’s being spread in gatherings with friends and family.

It’s in the same in certain communities here. Very much a cultural thing.

When did hospitalizations peak or have they? I know there is a lag time with deaths because they can be in the ICU for weeks.

I don't think I can agree. Orange County had 554 new cases today. That's more than about 20 entire states.
