I move that any thread that uses Screamscape as a source should be required to put that in the title so I will know it's just rampant speculation before I click on it.
Umm... You don't have to go to Screamscape to find rampant speculation. This thread has plenty to go around. Hey! Just saying...

I agree but the deciders might not. And I changed my mind about Pixar in the Mermaid theater. Someone else suggested PatF which I have now adopted into my grand scheme.

I like the Princess and the Frog idea, we need to see more of that film and Tangled in the parks. I can remember a rumour on the forum about the BatB show possibly being rethemed to Tangled (can't remember if there was ever anything more to it than rumour) but that sounds like a good idea to me.

If we’re posting wish lists, I’d like to see:

Lucasland (I have too many ideas, so I’ll leave it at that.)

Revamped Animation Courtyard to be something like Buena Vista Street meets the early Walt Disney Studios. Complete redo of the Magic of Disney Animation. I’d probably move One Man’s Dream over to be included in the new much larger Animation building. Maybe a, dare I say it, interactive walk through or ride (omnimover) based on classic Disney shorts. And I’d move the commissary over here.

Expanded Pixar Place, which I think should include another omnimover of some kind. (DHS needs these.) Maybe Up themed, using the Hunny Hunt system. And I’d put in an Incredibles themed restaurant personally.

Expanded Muppet area, with the shelved ride and restaurant. I’d go for a Gonzo and Rizzo themed restaurant instead of the Swedish Chef.

Updated Fanstasmic/ WoC fusion.

Hat relocation, removal, shrinking, whatever.

And dump everything they don’t know what to do with but must have in the cleared out backlot. Aladdin’s carpets, Disney Jr., playgrounds, etc. Maybe move the VotLM back there as well.

Am I the only one who never liked the new name? Disney Hollywood Studios seems redundant. Wouldn't calling it simply Disney Studios or even better Disney Bros. Studios been more relevant? Only a portion of the park is themed after Hollywood and even still it's themed after movie studios. That be like calling it McDonald's Hamburger Restaurant or Apple's Music and Video Playing iPad.

Also yes to an expanded Muppets Studios and bigger Pixar Place.

Never really thought of it like that...Walt Disney Studios could also work, but I feel another rebranding isn't on the horizon seeing as many people still struggle with it not being MGM

I'd still be fine with it being Disney-MGM Studios, except...there's like nothing of MGM there. The Great Movie Ride is about it. No James Bond or anything.

The only place that really pays "homage" to Hollywood are Streets of America,BLT, and GMR...I really wanna see BLT and SoA leave for something from Disney's studio.

I knew you would remember.

I fully expect VR to make a return in unexpected ways. Maybe not for Aladdin but other applications.
Dunno... Do you not think as a general entertainment it was a fad that's now all but died out?

You lost me at "Glee".

"Glee-K Out"?

"Journey to Madonna" ?

Even Iger wouldn't approve this stuff. Judging by some of the content on ABC he has approved of over the years he does not appear to be too picky.

I like this, but I doubt Glee would work well at a Disney Park.

Love the list. Awesome ideas. Pick one "added" idea from each category - and that's probably the most we will see in our lifetimes.

Some may not agree with this, as it all too close to what happens on GMR but I would change RNR to a Gangster Getaway Coaster. It would thematically fit closer than a present-day studio in 30's / 40's Hollywood. It would even be themed closer to the area as you could call the ToT / Gangster Getaway Coaster area the "Dark Side of Hollywood."

I see what your saying about GMR, but I think there is still some potential around this idea

I don't understand the obsession with Cars. It's critically one of ,if not, the worse Pixar movie made and it's already represented in the Lights Motors Action show and now has it's own section at the AoA resort..

Personally, with Monsters University on the horizon I would love to see the Monsters Inc. coaster come to fruition. The moment I saw that end of that movie I thought it would be the perfect setting for a family friendly roller coaster. Hopefully Monsters University can drum up enough buzz to get that project moving.
