(I think that they should have a combined Julie Andrews Show and a Dumbo Show in WDW...That would even it out!:lookaroun:lol:)

another Dragon update thanks to Mouseplanet:

...It looks like the new dragon for Fantasmic might be a little closer to finally joining the show. Cast members told us last week that the dragon was still headless, but another CM wrote this weekend with an update.

"(I) saw (the dragon) sitting out in full view for repairs and testing. The dragon was mostly intact from what I could see (the head was detached for a few weeks after the incident that damaged it) and numerous repair men and entertainment suits were watching as it performed several minor head movements. The dragon did not have her horns attached (made her look quite silly, actually) and was missing the 'skin' on her neck. All of the neck mechanics were fully visible and it all looked quite intricate. Far from just a 'head on a stick' or so to speak. During the head movements I'm pretty sure I saw her eyes blink."

While it sounds like progress, other sources tell us not to expect the dragon to return this week. We'll keep you posted as we know more.

sounds like they're making some progress.. here's hoping we see the dragon soon, Fantasmic just isn't the same without Murphy :o

This still sucks about the dragon but it also must be hard to work on the dragon since the area is in view of guests all day and the show happens twice every night, but I doubt its SSE part 2 LOL!

Also after Aug 30 F! shows up on the DL.com calendar on weekends only.

^thats what I meant but even then theres not a whole lot of down time, since DL has a standard summer opperating days of 8am-12am, There must be some big stuff wrong with the dragon :( at least theres the other additions to F! and the rest of Summer Nightastic!

right now the rumored date for the dragon's premiere is August 16 (tomorrow). That date was first mentioned by Al Lutz, he suggested there is a possibility it will debut then. however at this point it is still just a rumor.

obviously an obstructed view, but at this point any picture is better than no picture at all! :)

and a sidenote - I saw Magical again this past weekend. Amazing show.. but the cool thing is the confetti actually worked this time! Now, when I first heard about the confetti ending I wasn't sure how that would work in a fireworks show. but it works!

And when they say confetti they mean it! It was like a confetti bath on Main Street. And I wasn't expecting the cool UV lights - makes the confetti seem to glow in the dark :) really nice effect. now I want a confetti ending in every fireworks show!

Most likely tonight or tommorow the dragon will appear if it didn't appear last night. just a rumor though, like the past rumours of it's appearance were like.

^ I was there last night and there was no dragon. I've heard we're going to have to wait a bit longer than August 16th now....but everything's a rumor now, so we'll see.

Having it delayed for about 2 months already is bad, SN! isn't going good for F! in terms of the missing dragon. They've probably been testing it after park hours. At least by September it could make an appearance, just all rumors now :fork:

A Disney's Electrical Parade update-Thanks to mintcrocodile

The donkey kids now have some LED's and the wings on Elliott move. Also new when the parade came back in June the parade lights turn on softly when theirs performers on the ground ie. the donkey kids, finale girls.
