Last time I was there on the 4th at the MK, they'd instituted traffic circles at major guest intersections.

People were confused as hell trying to figure out why they weren't allowed go left to go the direction they wanted. Lines were unthinkable.

After an entirely miserable day of being hot, with no place to really relax because almost any place with AC was either busting at the seams or had an hour+ wait in an outside line to get into, I vowed never to go back.

... Even COP had a wait - let that sink in.
…and that was?

... On the 4th?

Pre-covid.

Just the same, it's like going to a mall and seeing it trashed, witnessing a shooting and then going out to find your car vandalized.

You can tell me they've cleaned it up and it's now safe all you want, I'm not going back to see for myself anytime soon... Especially not if they're charging $200 a head to get through the door. ;)

We were down for a Dance thing last 4th, and decided to take the one day off and go to DHS, and it remains the most empty I've ever seen a park. We legit walked onto everything except Slinky Dog, Aerosmith, and RotR. RotR was around 8 minutes to get to the preshow, Aerosmith was maybe 20, and Slinky was just under 30 minutes. Also walked into the Cantina. I've never seen anything like it. It was very hot (which made Toy Story land truly unbearable and dangerous), but it was remarkable. Even eating a sit down, we were done with the entire park in like 4 hours.

Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day 2023 were dead. Everyone stayed away. It was surreal how low the waits were.

See - this feels crazy.

It's like you guys are telling me it's okay to touch the glass stove-top even though the circles are still red underneath.

"no - red means it's OKAY to touch it now - try it!" - that's what I'm hearing here. 🤨

It sucked so much, nobody wants to do it ever again. Sounds like you’re in that boat lol

“If you don’t like these moves announced today, you should pray Peltz and Rasulo don’t get on the board. If you think day tickets approaching $200/day are bad, imagine $300 / day. Because that’s what they’d do if they can. And add tip machines to Princess meet and greets. Don’t believe me? Well, then you’re willfully naive as to the broader destructive cultural forces at work here.”
Interesting... Is this a legit quote or are you paraphrasing someone/something?

I’m still on the fence on renewing my Pixie AP.

But that’s why I still go. It’s incredibly affordable and I get the added bonus of knowing I’m the customer Iger and Co hate
I'm apprehensively renewing my Sorcerer Pass. Being DVC, we go enough every year to "justify" the cost of the pass. But, each visit I am spending less and less time in the parks...
