However, TBA will be "new" in Disney speak into early 2025, and it will be a meaningful component in their messaging throughout this year ahead of holiday and 2025 bookings. A compliment of "NEW ways to experience the magic (Genie+ changes), NEW benefits for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests, NEW entertainment offerings, and the BRAND NEW Tiana's Bayou Adventure" could give them a successful campaign if their goal is to turn around the hotel business and increase guest satisfaction.
So it wouldn't be surprising if many of the changes to G+ may come about in tandem with TBA being put out? Or will this go ILL and VQ?

It seems risky because if it goes VQ and ILL and there is lukewarm reaction it becomes a major embarrassment and will cripple any sort of campaign they have.

“If you don’t like these moves announced today, you should pray Peltz and Rasulo don’t get on the board. If you think day tickets approaching $200/day are bad, imagine $300 / day. Because that’s what they’d do if they can. And add tip machines to Princess meet and greets. Don’t believe me? Well, then you’re willfully naive as to the broader destructive cultural forces at work here.”

No point people complaining on here, we’ll all continue to go.
I'm a hypocrite, I'll acknowledge it. But I'll only go if there is a worthwhile incentive provided via AP pricing. The "savings" on room rates and merch/dining discounts are sadly what I use to justify renewing my AP.

I think the real danger for Disney is loosing the family from Denver that go every 5 years or the first time visitors who get to experience "The Magic" or the family that is now going to go somewhere else because a Disney Vacation is now even more out of reach and not worth going further into debt for.

So, diving a bit into the numbers and using JD's date of October 13 (and 14 for this year to stay on a Monday). Looks like for multi day tickets, the increase is around 7% on tickets. Largest increase is on a 3 day ticket at 7.78% increase, while the smallest increase is 6.45% on a 10 day ticket.

Interestingly, park hopper tickets are what have seen a larger increase. Overall, it's 7.60%, but much more skewed towards the under 5 day trips. 2 day park hoppers went up $63 (a 15.89% increase). 3 day park hoppers jump almost $68 for a 10.32% increase. So to me, they are really pushing to not have people hop at all (probably has to do with keeping minimum staff throughout the day).

We’re about to have a baby, so won’t be making any trips for at least a few years I think. It’ll be interesting to see how things change between now and then. Will this plan work? I doubt it.

I’m still hoping for incentives to attract people.

Thanks for the correction. WDW is totally justified to constantly increase prices on everything by far outpacing inflation. Especially since EPIC will be opening, WDW must create more revenue with less visitors.👍
One thing regarding death and taxes ( no state income tax in the Sunshine State!! )😁

The Fourth of July isn’t bad at all…except the heat…because they have long hours and the summer crowds have shrunk

It’s Tuesdays in October or mid January with crappy early closures for upsells that make the place miserable now
Last time I was there on the 4th at the MK, they'd instituted traffic circles at major guest intersections.

People were confused as hell trying to figure out why they weren't allowed go left to go the direction they wanted. Lines were unthinkable.

After an entirely miserable day of being hot, with no place to really relax because almost any place with AC was either busting at the seams or had an hour+ wait in an outside line to get into, I vowed never to go back.

... Even COP had a wait - let that sink in.
